Date a soulmate from California, United States. I've always found it difficult to put who I am in a little blue box. I'm human- by all accounts we are one of the most complex beings on Earth. But never one to shirk from a challenge, I'll give it a whirl. A few things about me: I love to travel, both here locally and internationally. I feel a great moment is when a conversation becomes a discussion and I leave the encounter feeling as if I've grown as a person. I'm a lover of languages (I speak German and English and enough Spanish to get by if ever dropped in the middle of a foreign country without a penny to my name) and a self-proclaimed mini grammar snob- double negatives are a pet peeve. I've been told that I'm terrifyingly efficient, but I've also been called laid back.I drink a black Americano but add French Vanilla Coffeemate to my drip and sometimes throw caffeine to the wind and settle on a good herbal tea. I feel as comfortable in an evening gown as in my favorite jeans and a t-shirt. I love the outdoors and can often be found in my backyard gardening or hiking the dunes at the local beach. But I also love to curl up on my couch with a good book and stay indoors. I listen to an eclectic variety of music (from Dinosaur Jr. to Bach) and, though I love to sing, most of my vocals end up drowning in the water spraying from my shower head. I dance for pleasure and for fitness - if there's a beat, I'll try it on for size. I think that's about as much information as this little rectangle can handle.
