Being in touch with myself and others is also a priority; I'm a yoga and meditation teacher (yep, I sit twice a day to clear up the junk in the trunk hehe), which has allowed me to connect deeply with loved ones and strangers. I've recently taken a liking to (rock) climbing and bouldering, and am slowly trying to make my way up to 5.10s (big plus if you know what I'm referring to). I like being silly, losing myself in watching clouds pass by, and listening to a song on repeat for the entire day. I also have a focused side in which I try to figure out ways to better our world. I am a very open person -- I get a lot of random strangers and babies come and open up to me when I am out walking, and have come to the conclusion that everyone's just really looking for a connection.
What do I want in a connection? I'm looking for someone to grow with; a patient and emotionally mature partner to share and explore new territory! I would really just love to meet someone who digs food (and enjoys Yelp as much as I do), the beauty of a breathtaking sunset, and is more than okay with being spontaneous and creative (along the lines of last minute trips to Trinidad or busting out dance moves in the middle of the streets of SF). Sincerity, a genuine and generous heart, along with a great sense of humor are also qualities that click with me. :-)

Then I log on the computer for my online classes working on getting my AA for now and then pursuing my education and go for my BA. I love to be outdoors in the sun, whether it be playing softball or swimming, skiing (water or snow). I am typically a person all to myself these days with such a busy schedule, but I can honestly say it gets lonely. I want compassion and the sense of being loved and wanted NOT needed.
I love spending time with my family, cousins, aunts and uncles. Family is a big part of my life and I cherish everything when given the chance. Like a lot of you, I also never thought I'd be on one of these sites but have seen it work for others so will give it a try. I was born in India but have lived in the bay area all my life & love it here. My last few years were spent focusing on getting into and through pharmacy school.
