I just moved here from Seattle and know no one, except some relatives. I needed to get out of the rain and into the sun. The change has been amazing, but I'd like to meet someone that exceeds my expectations when looking for my "other half". You can be the one to decide which is which :) I went to culinary school and graduated w an AOS in Patisserie and Baking so, needless to say, I love baking. I work too much, sleep too little, and constantly need to be busy. I love my dog more than most people I know, I dislike laziness, improper grammar, and impolite people. I'm a vegan (I know, I know). I laugh too much, and tend to not take things too seriously, I like being alone but love the time I get to spend with my friends when I have it. I feel like I can be a hard person to date because I work two jobs and hardly have time to sleep but if you're important enough to me I'll make time for you :)
A little about you...I would love to meet someone that has their life together. Yes, a job, a car and not living at your parents house or with 5 other guys is key. I can be pretty ridiculous and quick witted so I need someone that can handle sarcasm but also knows how to treat me like their girlfriend. I live at the beach with one of my closest friends, and I love spending time outside. I enjoy being at the beach, brunches in the sunshine, and any sport on the water, like kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. I like to go hiking and do just about anything that gets my adrenaline going. I also love to stay home with a bottle of wine and a movie. Or even just a movie.
I like getting out of San Diego for little trips to places like Palm Springs and Venice Beach. I'd really love to see Santa Barbara and Big Sur someday soon. I also love when I get the opportunity to go home and visit my family. I have a three year old nephew who is my favorite person in the world, and I love how excited he gets when I come home to see him!
I enjoy my job and the people I work with, and most days I really like going to work. Every once in a while I get to travel for work, and that's probably my favorite part. However, I'm always on the lookout for how to make my current job better or find a better job.
I'm a pretty laid-back person. I just enjoy being around good people who enjoy the same type of lifestyle that I do. I like to laugh and make others laugh, and I enjoy doing nice things for people. I like a guy who is smart and sophisticated, yet goofy and quirky. It's important to me for a guy to be a gentleman - open doors, offer your jacket - just be nice! I'm a native New Yorker, relocated to CA in February 2011. I'm loving it here! I feel like I am the luckiest person to have ended up here! The Navy is what brought me here. I joined the Navy Nurse Corps last year and it was one of the best career moves I've made. Where else can I develop great nursing skills, see different areas of the world that I would probably not have seen and have the opportunities to go back to school?

I guess people would say that I'm mature for my age. I'm witty and sarcastic. I love to laugh, but who doesn't. Seriously, uncontrollable laughter, like almost pee in your pants and makes you snort type laughter is my favorite thing. I am definitely able to laugh at myself and would hope my date can laugh at themselves also.

I have a big family, they are really important to me even if they make me crazy at times. I love getting ready for the holidays more than the actual holiday itself, because during the getting ready phase it is my mother, my sisters, my nana and myself together in the kitchen cooking.
