Date single man from California, United States. If you have made it past the pictures and are now reading this (oh come on, you know you were looking at the pictures first!) then thanks for being interested enough to at least start reading. Well... I moved to SoCal from the east coast of central Florida after graduating from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). I love the outdoors, preferably the mountains. As you may be able to tell from my pictures that you already looked at, my love of hiking and the outdoors is deeply ingrained in my soul. It is something that I have been doing for over 30 years (OMG I'm getting old), it is who I am. Some things I like to do include hiking, camping, snow skiing, snowshoeing (great workout), and kayaking, none of which I get to do as often as I would like and I'm just about suffering from withdrawal lately from lack of those things as i have had other priorities recently. I also love day trips and weekend getaways to wherever. Lest (yep, I know how to use some fancy-shmancy words) you think I only like to get dirt under the fingernails, I do clean up well and I like to hit the occasional art show now and then (there's a wildlife art show that I go to every year) and going to the theatre is something I like to do. You can take me pretty much anywhere without too much fear of embarrassment. Notice that I did not say that you would have NO fear of embarrassment (I'm a GUY after all). ;-) I'm a fairly laid back person, I prefer quiet days and nights. I'm looking for someone to share my life with who wants to share hers with me. I'm looking for someone who shares some of the same interests who wants to share some of her own. Someone who shares my love for the outdoors and who is as comfortable in jeans at the campsite as dressed up. Someone who thinks hitting the road to tour national parks would be an adventure, not an ordeal to be endured. I want someone who will share mutual trust and the ability to depend on each other to get through the hard times as well as good times that all relationships throw at you. I'd like to find someone who wants to be best friends as well as more. Honesty goes a long way with me, no games please, we’re not in high school anymore. I love it when a woman shows interest in trying to form a relationship so don't be shy. Now for the deal-breakers. Since I have provided photos here please post some of your own, it's only fair and I do not respond to profiles without photos. If you tend to date a lot of people at once then we probably are not compatible. I am not a serial dater. I don’t date a lot, when I do it is one person at a time. I'd rather be single than with the wrong person. I don't ever see myself without a dog or two in my life so you should be a dog person too (cats are ok, I had several growing up, but dogs rule!). One of my dogs and I are a certified canine search team so you need to be able to handle being around high energy dogs. One last thing in this way, way too long narrative, please take note of where I live, chances are I probably live about an hour away from you, actually, it’s about an hour away from pretty much everywhere, but it’s nice and close to the best hiking that So Cal has to offer, you can actually find a place to park here, and afford a house that doesn't sit on a lot the size of a postage stamp so it works, for now. ;-) I have definitely rambled on enough here and I’ve written way more than I should have and probably scared most of you away.
