Date a soulmate from United States. Quite honestly, it would be wonderful to meet someone that I am attracted to and respect and I would hope to fulfill those same needs. It has been a while since I have held hands and walked with someone I've loved or danced intimately with someone I cared for. Without seeking that person again, one can never find her. It would be wonderful to start sharing things again and anticipating a wonderful evening or day with that special person.
As an individual, I am spontaneous and can be quick-witted if on the right topic. My interests in music are a little older than my age although I can appreciate the likes of others. I have worked hard my whole life and do appreciate what I've been blessed with which is an honorable family that tries to do things conscientiously. There aren't too many of us but I think we have gained the respect of our colleagues and extended family members.
I respect people who care about those who have been deprived of things many of us take for granted. In my life, I worked in an urban ghetto and learned to appreciate the struggles in life for many people. As a teacher, I taught English As A Second Language classes for years, and learned about the struggles of so many who came to this country for a better life.
My experience with people of various cultures and races has shaped my view as an American and my values. I do not respect people of wealth who have little or no concern for the masses of people isolated from them.
I guess I would like to meet someone who shares some of my values and interests. It is not necessary to be totally in synch. but would be wonderful to be in step with that wonderful person. With the right person, romance will be in the air again and it is a very special thing once it happens. If it does, I intend to grasp it and hold onto it.
Teaching was a passion but I still have the opportunity to substitute and create lessons on those occasions. I enjoy using people in history to teach about life. I have tried to make golf a passion but it is more of an activity to share with others and not something I think about too much except when Tiger Woods is on televison.
