Date a soulmate from Pacific Grove, United States. Hello! Welcome and thanks for reading. Certainly, communication is largely non verbal, and we would all probably prefer a more natural way to meet but this is a way to begin... It is fun to be charming and silly but first we have to be sincere, open I think too many women ( guys too! but I don't know guys in that way! ) put up defenses then get the man best at breaking through those defenses, well how did he get so good? So I guarantee I am not too funny or charming, at first, anyways. I am kind, attentive, sincere, a bit iconoclastic, btw, what is your definition of strength? Mine perhaps is strong enough to be kind, to be hurt, to be consistent, to be a giver. I really enjoy nice and sharing. It is fun to look forward to adventure daring to live life with passion and conviction. Adventures on the peasant bus in Bolivia as well as the Louvre in Paris have all been great, they are both adventures of the the Human Spirit.
So who am I looking for? Well, it helps to be like minded, I am adventurous, hardworking, responsible I do things, seek new experiences, cerebral has beenvused on me, I usually feel like a dummy, physical, take care of people, myself and am intensely loyal, great creative and romantic moments arise as a result of lots of subtle simple sharing. I don't put limits on people, go in with a preconceived notion of what some else has to be share thoughts, feelings, communicate, adventures great and small, special thrills and small things made special!
I live my life believing that we are here to make the world better, service to community, for me the environmentalism is very important, everything emanates from the humble heart of nature, culture, humanity, anthropology, all fun, don't worry life is funny it is far too crazy to stay serious all the time, I certainly get tear my hair out anymore, I guess that is maturity!
Anything in nature is fun for me, working out ( but not for vanity ), bicycling, hiking, I have always loved playing sports and competition which now has me coaching running, I enjoy the energy of teenagers. I love to cook, not often huge crazy esoteric stuff, just daily good, simple wholesome creation. I used to have extensive gardens when I lived in Santa Cruz, here I have no big yard but still, I grow and nurture things, body, food, youth, plants, a kitten! I even love to forage for berries, like fishing, cooking what I gathered. I dream of a little farm, lots of animals, trees.
I love traveling, backpacking and adventuring and as a teacher I have had a lot of time to travel, although less recently as responsibilities arise. My adventures and backpacking trips have been from overnight to last years' 20 miles and 3 passes in a day. I love the Mineral king area of the Sierra, Henry Coe park is insane, Boundary waters in Minnesota and Peru, Bolivia are some of my favorite trips, also France, Austria, Greece, England, Turkey, Switzerland. Locally Arroyo Seco and Garland are great, if you like flowers have you seen the Mariposa Lilies? Music anyone? I love Naima by Coltrane, mostly old rock that strives, flows. Let's hear your thoughts....
