Cookbooks are just guidelines - you make do with what you have available especially if its fresh from the garden! Improvise I say! I'm not afraid to BBQ (got to be charcoal!) and enjoy tasting new dishes. I have brewed my own beer from scratch and have toured many craft breweries and rated their offerings - when in doubt order the sampler and go from there.
