Someone once told me "Life is too short to be angry and let things bother you. Enjoy life and be happy...." I agree! There is a lot to be said about honor, integrity and character. 'Cut and run' is one way I guess. However, those who work hard and don't let go reap the rewards and can look back with pride knowing they are a part of creating something amazing.
