Date someone special from California, United States. I like to work hard when things get tough and I never deny myself a time to celebrate my accomplishments and of those of my dear friends regularly. I am self employed, which I find very rewarding. I enjoy my accomplishment and when things do not go well, I will analyze the issue and try to do better the next time. I am described as a hard worker and push both those around me and myself, I don’t tolerate stupid mistakes well but I appreciate the task of learning and I enjoy teaching others should they so desire.
When I don’t work, I find laughter and live music intoxicating. I love to nap on Sundays or when I feel like spoiling myself. I swim for both exercise and enjoyment. I love fine dining, and just sometimes I will ceremoniously throw the cell phone out the window and absolutely cut loose.
I think that humans can be extraordinarily persevering at times, and at other times life has a force that can beat them down to their knees. I have lived both which I feel gives me a good sense of compassion. So much of what I have is chance. And so much of what others have lost or suffered is chance. For this I am cognizant. I believe such events in life are unavoidable; it’s generally a chance thing although one in life should take full responsibility for their actions and blame no one with perhaps some exception. Overall I am very lucky. I have good health as do my children. I have caring genuine friendships, and I smile well at times. I enjoy giving on a regular basis through my Rotary Club. I am agnostic but receiving through giving is absolutely true. My business provides me with a good life. I am not rich however at times I feel very rich. I am native to San Diego and currently live in Coronado; living in paradise.
The internet is a great time saver to be leveraged, and so has its place. It provides many benefits and can be a great place to meet others but it is definitely NOT a replacement. And very importantly, the web cannot screen for chemistry, which is mandatory in my book.
I am interested in meeting a woman who is comfortable with herself and her feelings. She should have strong conviction about her position on topics when it matters and can say “whatever” when it doesn’t. If you have your career and this, that, and the other, that is great however nothing should be more important than your relations with friends, family, and partner. That’s because when you are at your highest or lowest point in life it will mean nothing without them to share.
I view myself as very lucky to have my friends and family. I love to make money and I love all it buys. I think society is taught that to want lots of money is evil in many ways. It’s not. Money can buy education, health care, and it can be given as charity to starving cold children. I will say money without caring for others and being cared for makes money pretty much worthless. I enjoy a woman with a dry sense of humor, a woman who likes to be a woman, one who loves fine dining at times and Chinese food to go in front of the TV other times. One who likes coffee, exercising, napping, dinner on a blanket on La Jolla shores, someone who respects their body but will polish off a triple sundae on occasion, and one who works hard but sleeps in from time to time?
My turn-offs are cheap wine, cheap penny pinchers, body builders, people who talk and never listen, tattoos, liberal democrats, tribal or nutty body piercings (ok, maybe one…ha ha), drugs, dishonesty, owners of pit bulls who swear their dog is so sweet, bubble heads (male or female), Self-entitlement personalities, laziness, excuses, super high energy 5 hours of sleep people drive me nuts (ok, I am probably jealous on this one!), excessive talkers, government waste, politics, those idiots who throw their cigarette butts out the window, ghetto blasters cars, superficial attitudes, sit-coms, and corporate greed…and that’s from a guy who owns a corporation! Ha.
