Date someone special from United States. I retired from teaching six years ago and now work only part time in a tasting room, and have semi retired from my massage practice that paid my bills the last few years, allowing me time off to take vacations. I stay fairly fit, and love a physical challenge especially with a thrill attached to the activity (hang gliding, rafting, or just skiing or skating fast). I love water and snow sports. I lived in Lake Tahoe in 2011 for the ski season for three months to ski and shovel snow. I love road trips, and camp often, usually in Yosemite.
I would prefer respect, communication, and harmony at this stage of my life. No time for verbal assults. I practice 'The Golden Rule'. I am affectionate and enjoy that in a relationship. I hope you love to dance. I have forgotten more from my dance classes than I can remember! But I love Swing, Salsa, and Cha Cha. I am athletic, and outgoing and enjoy most outdoor and indoor sports. I try to be environmentally conscious, minimizing utility usage, recycling, and picking up trash. I am definitely political, and find Republicans scary and the 'real' threat to our democracy, willing to tank our economy to make Obama look bad. So Republicans, apoliticals, conservatives, and most middle of the roaders, I have to say 'sorry', but please don't waste our time, it will never work.
You are someone with a youthful outlook on life, who is physically able to enjoy it. You see a mountain and want to climb to it's top, not drive by. You see a body of water and want to float, raft, swim, snorkle, SCUBA, ski, on it, not drive by it. I look forward to planning an international vacation. With you?
You keep yourself active and watch your weight, so you can enjoy more wine and chocoate! On TV, I enjoy watching the Tour de France, Downhill skiing, the Lakers and 49ers, but, I prefer practicing. When I grow up, I want to be either a Laker, or a downhill racer! If you don't have a dream, then how could it come true?
Let's travel together, but have three cups of tea first.
