Words are used to communicate and my ability to relate to you who I am can be difficult. Pictures tell a thousand words and the pictures I posted need more words. I am a native Southern Californian, born and raised in Los Angeles and have lived here all my life. I was the youngest of six kids. we played sports growing up, basketball, volleyball, paddle tennnis, ping pong and I soon learned that my three sisters and two brothers could be beat me at everything. I bought into the phrase, "It is not whether you win or lose, it is how you play the game" I gave it my best and then congratulated them.
Having three older sisters, I learned early that women are not my equal, they are better!!. I am still very close to my sisters and brother. All three sisters live near LA and I talk to one sister several times a week. She is a best friend. We talk about lots of things but one topic always comes up. We talk photography. My dad was a professional photographer , she took it up and got me interested. She takes great pictures and tells me I am beeter than she. I have learned that she does not always speak the truth, but I do appreciate her comments.
Family has and always will be important to me.
I learend how to dance at an early age going to dance classses, learned how to be respectful by the examples my father showed me in his daily life.
I learned to play golf from my dad and spent many many hours on the course learning about life from him. I learned to love the game and have passed that love to one of my sons who is a teaching pro.
So, why am I here and who am I looking for? I am here to find a friend, a partner, someone who can dress to the nines and is as comfortable in jeans. she likes to be adventureous or stay at home, cook for two or enjoy my cooking ability, go out for dinner, breakfast or a picnic watching the ocean.
There is a downside to being me...........I am laid back, at least that is what people perceive. But all those losses early on made me competitive. I enjoy the competition.
