I've done a some traveling. I'll always have a travel bug. I've been quite few places and done quite few things for fun. The last river I whitewater rafted had crocodiles in it. Oh my....!! You'll have to ask about anything else. I love thunder and lightning, and loathe political correctness. I can be very spontaneous. I've been a pretty adventuresome guy. A bit of a risk taker at times. I like to body surf. I love the sand, surf and salt air. T'n'T..(touchin' 'n' talkin')... I like substantive conversation. It doesn't get much better than conversation where minds and hearts meet. Kissing's a good thing. Do I want to make my woman feel special?? Hell yeah!! Movies....I like poignant, thought provoking stuff, as well the mindless, as long as it has good stunts, pyrotechnics and or good computer graphics. I like slapstick too.The Stooges crack me up. I like most kinds of music. I’ve been pretty big fan of live theatre. It's all good, drama, comedy....dance and song and dance are my fav. I'm not interested in serial dating. I am a fan of live theater and enjoy small local playhouses to broadway plays, from Los Angeles Music Center to New York City. One of my recent favorites was Jersey Boys. It was hard to sit still with those nostalgic tunes. ( love dancing, too!).
Movies are a regular activity - along with a little popcorn.
Music - it's food for my soul - from Chopin's Concerto #1 in E Minor, Pachelbel's Canon in D, to rock, and for a little romantic mood setting: Michael Buble, Phil Collins, and Rod Stewart.
I am very affectionate and extremely romantic, and would hope my partner is too. I love heart-to-heart talks, and something as simple as holding hands in the super market qualifies as a touch of romance. I am a loyal and monogamous partner and I will be your # 1 fan.
I like to be fit and healthy - so I walk daily and visit a women's gym 3 times a week. Brisk walking and bike riding where the scenery is beautiful is great. I am a novice golfer - love it - and agree with the players that say the challenge is never over. Once in a while I am lucky enough to hit a 'birdie' ! . I try to play weekly.
Must haves: music, writing, the arts, creative activities, good discussions, exchanging smiles, sharing glances when something hits a heartfelt chord, a Costco fix regularly, Trader Joe's weekly, a cup of herbal tea and watching the sun rise, laughing til I cry, getting together with friends, enjoying family activities and parties, fresh cut flowers in the house, AND the most essential of all... to love.
I have two teriffic, grown daughters, married, who live in Southern Califonia, and between them they have 5 children. These 5 have served as my Advisory Board ( without realizing how much they've contributed and inspired) in writing a series of manners book for children .
No siblings, parents are deceased, and so I have many loving friends who are just like family to me. Good friends are a huge priority in my life.
I am not particularly religious, but have a very deep faith that I live by daily, and am very spiritual.
My perfect match is a man I am head-over-heels in love with, and we parallel in these traits: a fun sense of humor, smart, educated and aware, financially sound and successful, sensitive and romantic, energentic and ambitious about daily living.
