Meet single man from United States. Hi! This is an unexpected, strange, yet exciting new life for me. I was happily married for 31 years when my wife passed away in 2008. I never thought that I would be single and dating again. Yet they say that for every door that closes, a window opens.
I have been fortunate to be able to retire early in life. I am in excellent health, financially secure, and enjoy living in Paradise. I’m now doing things that I couldn’t do while my wife was sick. Over the past 3 years, I have begun exercising more and more. I'm now in the best shape of my life and working to improve upon that. I typically ride my bicycle 18 miles every morning and typically hike 5 miles each night. I'm actively skiing including two trips to Mammoth Mountain this winter. The exercise is addictive and keeps me smiling.
I’m also into swimming, kayaking, and generally trying new things. Yes, I’m working on my bucket list. I love being outdoors although I was not born with the camping gene. I moved to this area 14 years ago from the Chicago Area and can't get enough of this sunshine and great weather. I'm still discovering new, interesting things to do.
I really love to go riding with my motorcycle club and I’m one of the founders/organizers for a singles group. I enjoy attending concerts and going to plays with this group. I have a 5 year old Killer Attack Poodle named Rocket and she is a lot of fun.
I like a wide range of music including rock, blues, pop, oldies, jazz, bluegrass, etc.
What am I looking for in a match? Actually, I don’t know but I'm slowly getting a better idea. I'm tempted to use terms such as chemistry.
