I consider myself to be a kind person with family values, and I think those are important qualities in a date. I think a sense of humor is very important, also. I think I am probably a better listener than a talker. I enjoy being around others, but would prefer spending time one-on-one or with close friends. I enjoy being outside and I love animals. I live with my daughter (16), who is extremely important to me. I am in education, and due to my profession, I feel uncomfortable posting a picture, but would be glad to provide one if asked. I feel education is important, as I have dedicated myself to helping children learn and grow. I am goal-oriented, and I am currently working on my doctorate. I am also working on getting in shape, and I am hoping I can soon change my "body type" :) I will get there.
I am a big baseball fan and enjoy going to games. I am comfortable with who I am and being single, but I would love someone to spend time with and get to know, and possibly move on from there. I have just started looking to date again after being divorced for a while, I love to travel, and would love to experience new places with someone.

I have twins (boy/girl) who are the absolute light of my life. As much as I enjoyed life and the freedoms I had before becoming a dad I wouldn't trade what I have today for anything in the world. That's not to say being a single dad is without challenges but the rewards are beyond measure. I'm a project manager for a great software company - a job which is equally challenging and fulfilling since I'm constantly working with new teams and clients on pretty exciting stuff. I have a great group of family and friends throughout southern California.

Who I'm looking for. Hmmm...Looking for a friend and partner full of confidence, attitude, energy and passion for life. Gotta like kids. Someone who knows who they are and are happy for it. Someone who is open to exploring....there's so much to learn and do out here....spending time at the beach, the lake, the pool, sports, wine tasting, finding 'local' places to have fun, the fairs and festivals, music, dancing, laughing (I love comedy clubs) At the same time exploring inward is as important as outward...spending time together relaxing in the house or at the beach, helping each other through good times and bad, learning and growing together.

p.s.-I am really 50 yrs old, and yes a couple of yrs ago when I was 47 1/2 I lied and put 45 because I didn't like to think of myself as that age. I am now proud to be 50, I neither look like it or act it. If anyone knows how to change the age on this let me know and I will proudly do so!
