Date people from Castaic, United States. I am looking for a person to share my life with. I had a happy marriage for a lot of years and have been a widow almost 6 yrs. I love my children but they are grown & have families of their own. I want someone to laugh with and that will share their lives with me. I don't think marriage is an option but who knows? I'm healthy, not so wealthy and somewhat wise. Isn't that paraphrasing the old saying? I love road trips and have cruised often. I would like to travel more in the u.s. but always go back to cruising. Road trips are not so fun alone but i am perfectly willing to fly or drive alone if I have to. I'm where i don't want to do that anymore. I want a companion and a partner to enjoy things with.
Quiet walks on the beach are not all that much fun if you take into account sand and water always getting where you don't want them. I don't mind setting on a balcony watching someone else do the trudging thru the sand but i prefer to do my watching with a margarita in hand.
I was married so long that i don't know about the"dating" world now. I haven't had a date in 40 years. Wow that's telling isn't it? But I think I am a fun person to be with and am ready to try something new.
My friends & family always tell me i'm much younger looking than I am, isn't that what friends are for? But I don't feel my age and I don't feel age should be an issue. I don't want a jock that always wants to play basketball or go skating & I don't ski. I'm willing to go to the lodge and watch others oh, but that means cold huh? Guess that's out.
I lived in Texas for a few yrs and had enough of cold weather to last me. That's why i'm back in so cal. I love Hawaii and that's probably the only place i would re-locate to. But maybe not. There are other places with wonderful weather, I think.
I still work &; am not sure I would ever quit. I work from home and have to go into the office rarely. I like that.
I'm almost 5'5" and weigh a little more than I want but am taking it off. only a few more #'s about 10 to go. I am curvy and like it. I have kinda long hair that is streaked with blond, maybe more than a little but this way I can go a little grey and not be obvious about it. I'm not sure I am ready for it. I love grey on men sexist huh? But it looks great if taken care of. Bald is beautiful too. I'm not particular about stuff like that looks can change but the inside stays the same. That's what counts when u are alone together.
