Date a woman from United States. First a confession - the Golden Retrievers are not mine. I was just visiting them, and obviously having a great time! Do not have a dog now, but am seriously considering adopting a rescue pup. Had a Golden for 14 years... still miss him!
I am an active person who loves to travel, make new friends, embrace new experiences, and would love to find someone who enjoys the same things.
Although I do appreciate the finer things in life, I am just as happy sharing a picnic in a beautiful setting as enjoying a meal at a five star restaurant. Am comfortable in my favorite old jeans as well as designer clothes.

Volunteer work is a part of my life, and I was a long time member of Rotary International. Really hope you make time to be of service to those who may need it. Some friends and I started a charity golf tournament last year to benefit some local non-profits. Did pretty well and hope to double our profits next year.
Have a new grandson in Walnut Creek, CA, so I plan to be spending more time in the Bay Area.
Life is too short not to enjoy it, and so far, my life has been a great trip, with some minor bumps along the road, - wonderful family, lots of friends, and several interesting careers. I have traveled pretty extensively and been lucky enough to live in some of the most beautiful places in the world. Moving to the desert full time has given me the chance to move off in to new directions and to explore whole new opportunities.
