Date single man from California, United States. Picking dates from a catalog is not my ideal way to meet somebody, but it beats going to bars. I am willing to see who is out there, but I am not in a hurry. Work and keeping up with the kids keeps me busy. I would love to meet a friend first, preferably someone who enjoys the outdoors - skiing, hiking, climbing, mountain biking and kayaking - just got two new kayaks that I need to figure out.
My kids are a huge part of my life and they will always come first, as I expect they do for you as well. We do many family things together and they put up with me dragging them around the country.
I like to travel to foreign places and explore the different cultures away from the tourist areas - there are still many areas of the world that I have yet to see. I have lived all over the U.S. and a couple of places in Europe. Growing up in the Colorado mountains has developed many of my interests and I seek new hobbies. Getting my leg cut off a couple of years ago has allowed me to rekindle my interests in many things that people told me I could no longer do just out of spite. I enjoy going to plays, concerts, comedy clubs and occasionally will watch a movie. I do have a TV, but the latest movie, other than 'Kate & Ashley', is several years old.
The person that I connect with will be a free thinker and independent - I already have two puppies and don't need another one. I am more interested in what you think and feel. I have always been more on the romantic side and like to treat a person well.
