Date men from United States / California / Twentynine Palms, 43 year old

Date someone special from California, United States. I recently moved to Twentynine Palms (Again!), and unlike most people I am pretty happy to be here. I have a good life, and I feel blessed. I have great friends, and most important of all I have a great son whom I raise alone, with a little help from the aforementioned friends. As far as my personality I am borderline between an ESTP and an ENTP on the Briggs-Myers Personality Test. Apparently only 4-5% of the population fall into that category so I suppose I am special. While I am suppose to be an extrovert there are times that I am introverted, and it is usually at the end of the day when I like to think.
I have been told that I write better than I speak. I suppose that is to be expected since I am a Texan! I am somewhat backwoods in attitude despite my higher education (My liberal-agenda professors tried to turn me, but common sense prevailed!).
I enjoy eating healthy (try to at least) and staying healthy, and while I may be active I don't sport a 6-pack. I am thinking about changing that, but I am still at the thinking stage. I enjoy working with my hands, and I can build just about anything even if I don't know how.
I am not too concerned about finding a mate, as I have become more in tune with just being satisfied with my current circumstance. As I said I am blessed in life, and I am happy being a great father raising my son. I have realized that having a partner isn't the key to my happiness. Anticipating the next question of "What are you looking for then" I have to say, "not much." I am open to possibilities, but I won't be disappointed if my life continues as it is.
I suppose that is about it for now.
