Meet someone special from Corona, United States. I'm a high school literature teacher, and I like to use my free time to travel whenever the opportunity presents itself. I've travelled pretty extensively when I was younger, and I have lived overseas. I'm a pretty well established person with a stable career and home. (I laugh a little at some of the complaints I read on a number your of profiles. At the risk of crossing the line between confidence and arrogance, I actually have my **** together!) I enjoyed raising my daughter who is off to college now, so I'm looking for ways to spend my free time. I'm at the point in my life where travel is becoming more feasible once again, so a travel partner would be most welcome! I'm not much of a club guy, but I like to go out so long as the company's good. I don't drink (not because I'm against it, I just never acquired a taste for it), so you'd always have a designated driver. I love sushi! I've established a pretty comfortable way of life with an adequate amount of means and plenty of free time. I guess I can be a bit of a homebody, but I'm fortunate enough to have a fun circle of friends who are more than accommodating in their varied activities and keep me busy enough. I tend to be a regular t-shirt and jeans kind of guy. However, on the rare occasion when I have to, or when I feel like it, I clean up pretty well. I enjoy music and play a little now and then (somewhat the creative arts-y type).
Perhaps I don't try hard enough, but I'm not one to chase after somebody (especially if she is not interested in being caught!), so hopefully an interested party doesn't need too much of that kind of attention. Certainly playful flirting is a lot of fun, to an extent, but there needs to be a mutual attraction and a mutual respect for the risks taken in the dating world. I tend to go for the Girl Next Door type, but someone who is slightly dangerous has always been alluring, as well. I don't like to look too far ahead when I meet someone. I just want to go out and see if anything clicks--have a coffee or dinner and some company for an evening and see how things go. Eventually, I want to meet someone who fits into my life comfortably as well as me fitting into her life without compromising individual identity too much. Certainly attraction plays a big part, but that can differ from person to person as far as what may be attractive about them. I don't believe in cookie cutter personalities. Each person is so unique and different...just like everybody else!
