Just moved to San Diego earlier last Summer year.......so everything is new.
I'm an NPR/BBC/American Public Media listener and so if you are too that's great. Music is very important to me but I am not a professional musician, and it is a subject that we can talk for hours. I you sing, we'll write songs together.
About me (all those around me describes me typically as being generous, funny, smart and not shy).
When I was young, I wanted to be a race car driver, boxer for fighter pilot....now I'm just a Mechanical Engineer by education (Product Development). I like all things in the mechanical world (Steam Punk) and have a deep appreciation for the vintage and antiques. I can fix almost anything (I do my own work on my car). I'm a gadget / techie guy.
I've backpacked (Yosemite, Mammoth many times) across the Grand Canyon and drove cross country three times--planning to do some thing similar around the Pacific Rim or around the world.
Weekend getaway to San Francisco or Las Vegas (great restaurants and shows) for dinner or just a drive up the coast is.
I'm a role model for my nephew and nieces and they are very important to me. I'm not the boring type but that's up to you to find out.
I travel a lot so if you are the traveling type, that's great.
