Date single man from California, United States. About me and what I’m looking for, hmm I will do my best here to capture the essence of what I am about and the type of person I hope to find. I love music, Blues, Americana and some forms of Jazz in particular. I occasionally drive up to Ventura to sit in with other bands just for fun. Growing up here in San Diego I have several friends that play out and I like to go to their gigs as well. I like the Gas Lamp area and North Park for a night out. I love food and going out to eat or go to a friend’s cook out is a favorite of mine. I am mutable and can enjoy a variety of environments. I am just as comfortable in suit a function/event or at the Old Globe Theatre watching a play as I am in jeans at a BBQ. I can carry on a conversation and manage not to embarrass you or myself despite the fact that I am more than likely not Mensa society material. I am a Dive Medical Tech. by trade and I love diving, surfing, the ocean in general and what I do for a living. I am making the transition into the private sector this year and I am excited by what’s out there in this line of work.
I am looking for someone that is active in their life, someone that is positively charged and passionate about life and all it has to offer. I am not hung up on what you do for a living or for fun; I am more interested in how you approach what you do. I tend to be attracted to proactive people. Some of the heavy hitting characteristics I am looking for in a partner are kindness, compassion, transparency and an overall positive attitude towards life. I would like to meet a woman that is fun loving and sophisticated yet unpretentious.
Big turn offs for me are.
A twisted sense of entitlement.
People that blame others around them for their hardships and frustrations in life.
People that are rude and insensitive.
