Date a man from California, United States. Away again! This time to SLO for a tech conference!
My subscription is over. =) It was interesting. Oh, I wasn't able to read the last couple of emails! =(
I had this long "About Me" section, but I decided to delete it. It's probably better to get to know me in person.
I'm on summer vacation these days. I'm enjoying the time off. I've had the chance to see my sister and brother quite a bit. My parents are also in town. Soon, I'll be traveling to Miami or Mexico City. I haven't decided just yet.
At any rate, I'm a good man. I am confident, humorous, and easy-going. I'm dedicated to my career, and loyal to my friends and family. I have a dog I love very much. His name is Ajax and he likes to swim. Well, I think so. At least when I throw him in he seems to like it. I'm financially secure and have a home and a career I love. I don't want 'things,' but companionship would be nice.
So, who and what am I looking for? I'm looking for friends right now. In the past I had written that finding a long-term partner would be ideal, but it seems to raise expectations a bit too much. It's so much easier to start as friends. If we have fun together then maybe it has the makings of something more meaningful. We'll see. I'm open.
I like meeting people and talking over good food and maybe a drink. I suppose dinner is the best first date. If it's a horrible date at least I get to eat good food.
I don't like talking on the phone, very much. I'm not sure why. Well, I do know why. I was traumatized by a mean girl in high school. Nowadays, I usually state my business and get off. I love talking in person.
One last thing. It's rather important. I'm a dancer. No, not hip-hop or modern club music dancer. I can't dance that and I don't recognize most of it. I dance salsa, bachata, merengue, cha-cha, and cumbia. I may not go out very much, but I'm definitely passionate about my dancing. I also teach a bit at my high school. We have our own dance team.

Oh, I check your date range. I may peek at your profile, but I will not contact you if I'm beyond your specifications. Sometimes I think it's too bad, but I understand. I also have my own date range that I'm searching for. And as far as height requirements... Sorry, ladies, I'm 5'8'' not 5'9'', 5'10'', 5'11'', 5'12', or 5'13''! I refuse to wear platform shoes or hug up. I like it when it feels right.
DISCLAIMER: I'm far from perfect. Sometimes I'm a homebody, I'm not very handy, and my wine-tasting skills are non-existent. I have a horrible sense of smell, so if you have BO you're good with me. Uhm...I maybe a bit older and pretty much set (career), but I'm still a 'boy' in many ways. I let my bedroom get messy, my dishes stack up, and laundry, too. I can get easily distracted when cleaning house and chose to read instead. I drive slowly, drink little, dance too much (in spurts), and avoid social settings from time to time. My friends love me, but they sometimes wonder where I am.
