I have walked a spiritual "road less travelled", but I have finally touched ground enough to where I think I just might be able touch a woman's heart and soul (and she mine) and not have to say good-bye. In my romantic youth, good-byes were because she was off to marry a practical man and/ or get a career in pursuit of the American dream. I, in turn, was off to find spiritual enlightenment (San Francisco of the 60's, a great liberal arts college in the 70's, and various spritual teachers etc. into the early 90's) and to find a way to transcend the American middle-class nightmare...From the perspective of soul, it sure looked barren and hopeless back then. Lot's of growth since then...at least in some. Now I believe that we each have fulfilled our early destinies and now have another very beautiful and important one ahead. And after all my enlightenments, I remain a romantic because my soul knows that there is a special happiness that requires two souls and special magic to unlock. Yes, do appreciate good music (American standard love songs, especially), some movies, and nature; but there is a special significance to life that only two in love can see. We see it together or not at all. And when we see it, it is a blessing to us and all. On the physical side, I am definitely sensuous. While it's really about soul, there are important earthly issues, too. Materially, I have accumulated neither wealth nor debt. I was even issued some credit cards, which I never abuse. I do live in a dive rented to me cheap by a good friend of mine. It does affords me a bit nicer car, a few well-chosen toys, and the capacity to pick up a tab on a date. Bodily, I look like a retired NFL lineman, but I carry myself with dignity and grace. A lover (how Providence brought me down to earth) once told me that I have beautiful eyes, sensuous beautiful hands and handsome feet(!)There is this kind of feminine intelligence that I find enormously attractive. It has the keen ability to recognize what is really being said and what really matters in life. My ideal match would exude much of this natural wisdom.
