Date a man from Newcastle, United States. I think of myself as a regular, nice person. I'm a family man having raised three kids. While I am a Christian, I'm not an extremist and feel we all are entitled to our beliefs. I used to be Conservative but I have mellowed over the years. I have an ex-hippi, tree hugging, save the whales brother who is still way liberal but I find we agree in many areas. That said, I'm not sure what I am but I'm sure tired of all the rules and regulations that seem to have recently been enacted. I'm in the apartment business, consider myself a good landlord, but can't believe all the new laws that have been passed. I realize many of you ladies aren't familiar with the rental business so you'll have to take my word for it.
Even though I'm 66, I try and stay in shape. I'm not a marathoner by any means but I do try and run each day and try and eat the right food. I like to hike having gotten the bug many years ago when my son was in the scouts. I never thought I would like it and when the scoutmaster was looking for volunteer dads to accompany the boys on their annual 50 miler, I ran for cover. My hiding place wasn't good enough, though, and so off I went. Well, it turned out I had a great time. The mountains, the fresh air, the exercise were great. I volunteered the next three summers and even managed to help out at the week long scout camp each July. The boys couldn't wait to come home after the week but us dads really had a hard time leaving.
I guess the most important thing about me is I'm loyal, have family values, try and do the right thing by everyone, and don't sweat the small stuff. I'd like to meet a woman who is interested in her health, likes to run or at least walk, tries to eat right, and is just trying to enjoy life.
