I respect and admire intelligent, accomplished women. It's not in my nature to be mean spirited, nor do I like conflict. I love to show appreciation to the lady that appreciates me, and I show my appreciation and affection in many different, and sometimes creative ways, and often in fun, little ways.
People, friends and strangers, feel I'm about 10 years younger- physically and emotionally- than my chronological age. I've been athletic my whole life, exercise regularly, and am in very good health.
I really enjoy golf. It's a great venue for sport, social enjoyment and exercise. However, it is not and will not be my first priority in life. Meeting a lady golfer would be a plus, but someone who can "accommodate" a golfer is also OK. I built a home on a golf course, "down-sized", but a comfortable and well kept home. I'm not a "clingy person" and believe couples should have their individual interests and space as well as their wonderful time together.
I am very happily retired- for 11 years. I had a totally fulfilling professional life, after which, I decided it was time to finally devote more time to making my family, friends and myself happy rather than just stockholders. Within that was also the desire to have a special person in my life again. I've had more than my share of successes over the course of my life, and am very personally fulfilled. More importantly, as a result, I am very comfortable with who and what I am. My lady friends also remark at how low a maintenance guy I am, that I'm so much more a giver than "needer". My purpose in my life is NOT about me. It is about making family, friends, and hopefully a special lady, happy by sharing the goodness I have in myself with them. If that happens, I'll be very happy.
