One who likes sailing, hiking, camping, kayaking, tennis, skiing, flee markets,the arts, and exploring new places and travel and open to new ideas. But, she would also enjoys relaxing with a good movie, diverse conversation, Scrabble, and likes to be pampered with a relaxing massage at the end of the day. Would you be partial to being part of fixing a meal together and trying new recipes and drinks; particularly sea foods and different wines??

My passion is sailing, exploring new places, and ideas. A life of doing research and developement (R&D) in the sailing industry is now devoted to both personal exploration and projects as well as planning my up-coming trip to Alaska this Summer. I am emersed in the R&D designing of a new hydrofoil experimental sailboat as well as rebuilding my old research center in Hawaii and launching some inventions long overdue. Could you be part of something, different, unique, and new??

It would be particularly nice if she did not live too far away because access to each other is always a plus for those spur-of-the-moment get togethers.. Not a deal breaker (distance) as I do enjoy travels to interesting new places. Meet a man from California, United States. Life's good. Both of my children are through college and business is good. I would love to have someone to share with. I have the flexibility to do what I want and it would be a lot more fun with a partner.
I lived in Portola Valley for 20 years but when my children were born, moved to Sonoma County where they were reared. I was "Mr. Mom." We lived in the country and had LOTS of animals. I still own my home in the hills west of Sebastopol, but took over a business my grandfather started in 1955 in Merced. So, after being here 7 years, I finally admit I live here for now. I still have sheep, chickens, a goat and a dog who is with me always. He "works" with me every day.
I love to cook and prefer all fresh food. I am a big fan of Michael Polan and his "In Defense of Food." I am a voracious reader but it runs in cycles. Sometimes I'll read 2000 pages in a month and sometimes not so much. I am not a professional sports fan nor a fan of TV. I am a licensed pilot, scuba diver, have been an avid sailor and skier.
