Animals have always played a big role in my life and continue to do so. I have two shelter dogs and a stray cat. In the past horses were a big part of our family life and I would like to have horses again.

Not comfortable promoting myself, but they say this is how it's done - so I'm originally from Great Britain, Edinburgh, Scotland, Americanized, go home every two years, just got back a few days ago. Date someone special from United States. First of all, those of you who are in my "age group" already realize that the number is not the most important piece of info. It is the attitude and spirit, right? I learned this from a women I met while in college, off on my first job in Washington. I remember she was renting a room in the University Women's Club where I was staying. She must have been in her 80's.....but she was so young at heart and had so much to offer....had been an anthropologist, taught at Columbia, had been down the Amazon...and had an opinion about each person I dated that summer. She is the one who taught me that attitude is everything.....so enough on the age bit.
I grew up all over the world, China, Taiwan, Iran, India, and Thailand, because of my father's work. I loved it and it was a great indirect education about people, their culture, food, art and music.
My mother was an amazing painter. My Dad, in addition to his regular job, was a poet, writer and loved to go out exploring nature.
As for me, I have a definite artistic, creative side. I have my own pottery studio. My "meditation" is my garden.
I have 3 amazing sons and enjoy spending time with them as well as my one beautiful granddaughter. In fact, they are the ones encouraging me to do this!
I had my own real estate business for several years, working locally and in the international market.
I have taught art classes on several levels. I also created and taught an art program at a school for special needs children.
I later, went back to school, and after 4 years of hard work, earned a Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine. I have had my own practice here in San Diego for several years. I try to practice what I preach, so good health and nutrition are important to me.
