My work...
I have a passion for sharing my love of reading and writing with students. More than that, I hope to make a positive impact on students lives. I first knew I wanted to teach when I volunteered at an inner-city youth center. I formed one-to-one mentoring relationships with teen girls and knew I belonged in the classroom. Most recently, I worked with a grant program teaching remedial reading to middle schoolers. In fall, I am going back to school for my teaching credential - yay! Until then, I am busy looking for work as a nanny to offset my costs and am busy working on my writing blog.

I am your typical cali-girl nextdoor - I like yoga, the beach, art, music, cooking, running, nature, movies, its all good. Born and raised in San Diego, I am kind of a hippie chic and my friends call me "quarky" and "fun" - so there's that. As far as dating, I don't really have a physical type. I like a guy with common interests and who takes care of himself emotionally, physically, mentally, spiritually. Chemistry is pretty important to me - so let's get together in person ;)
After kissing a few frogs, I realized that I am better off unattached than with the wrong man. That said, I am open to the possibilities of finding Mr. Right(Now) j/k!
BTW I recently had to move home for financial reasons. Those who are not comfortable with the fact that I am close (literally) with my mother need not apply :) Thank you.
