Meet someone special from California, United States. Life has been too busy to do much socialing for some time now. I feel like I'm finally back to a place where I can and would like to make time to "get out there" and ultimately (hopefully) have someone else in my life. My life is pretty full as it is but I miss sharing it with someone special. Who knows, I may or may not find my future partner in crime here. I'm pretty easy going and like doing a variety of things. Sports, outdoors, music .... I enjoy being active and social. I'm from the Midwest -- with that comes a certain mindset towards people. I think "nice" is hard wired into my make-up -- I like most people until given a reason not to. I'm fiercely loyal to those I care about and would go to the ends of the earth for them if needed so don't mess with them!! I am independent and pride myself on being self-sufficient. "Can't do it" is not really in my mindset! I am not a damsel in distress that needs help or rescuing but I do not mind having company and a partner in whatever my current undertaking might be. I approach life with a positive and optimistic attitude -- the glass is always half full!! I recognize that the people we are today comes from the happenings of our past -- we all have baggage however, I feel we need to learn from our past, get past the baggage and move forward to create the future we want. If you are still overly bitter about your ex, disgruntled at the world, close-minded or intolerant -- please look elsewhere. Date a soulmate from United States. I am athletic, love to cook, garden, and travel to my timeshares. I love to stay physically fit and expect the same in return. When I am not hard at work, with my children, or hanging with my friends, I like to be with someone who is just as adventurous as myself in all aspects of life; be it skydiving or to a simple hike in the Amazon or hanging out at my timeshares with me. I am independent and squared away and I'm looking for the same in a man. I am comfortable going Dutch with expenses, but I am not interested in supporting a man or picking up the tab.
A well-groomed man is important. Looks are too, but not as important as hygiene. I don't think that's too much to ask.
The club scene is not my thing, but I do like getting dressed up and attending socials around town; for example: a New Year's Party, Mystery Theater Dinners, out to eat on dinner boat at Old Sacramento or to San Francisco to walk hand-in-hand through Pier 39 or China town.
I feel like I am an optimistic person moving through the fast lane of life...I do not want to waste my precious time going 45mph behind someone in the slow lane. I want to move ahead to destinations unknown and always taking time to park under the moonlight be it at lover's lane or just to star gaze and talk til the wee hours of the morning.
