FYI --- I will not make the first move to meet someone. I have this thing about being rejected besides I don't want to make a fool of myself. You know "there's nothing like an old fool". I love walking in the Redwoods or woods, walking the beaches on the Mendocino coast, and love the Mt Shasta area.
I'm not a good judge of who I am, but here goes. I am open, honest, caring. I have a great personality and love to laugh. I guess my wit and personality are my strongest qualities. (So I am told.) I am a no bull woman and hate, hate, HATE to play games. I love to learn from others and my views and beliefs are not carved in stone. I find intellectual sparring and debating interesting. Helps me to learn different perspectives of others and get to know someone better. Besides it can be fun. Love to read, can't seem to put my Kindle down, am learning to cartoon, getting back to my piano. I volunteer in a local thrift shop. I adore my co-workers. They are true gems, they keep me laughing and I appreciate that. Truthfully, I have many interests, in fact too many to list here, but if that's what you feel defines someone send me an email and I'll let you know. Not to worry though. I know I'm not a super looker, but not bad for woman of my age. If someone can see beyond the physical trappings then they're the man for me. I AM NOT overweight nor am I real skinny. I'm just average and look pretty good in my clothes. I still have the ability to turn heads once in GREAT while. I am a great listener and function as a sounding board quite well. Presently I am not looking for a serious commitment (i.e., marriage or living with someone). Just getting to know someone and to share some time would be nice. I am not looking for someone to take care of me in my old age (if I ever ge there).
I love to be casual, but clean up nicely. Function well at social events. I am a one-man woman and hope to find the closest friend of my life.
