I was born in New York City to first generation European immigrants, but was raised in Europe (Italy and Greece mostly). My stepfather worked for the Italian Foreign Service so my family moved quite a bit across the globe. I was raised tri-lingual (Italian, German and English) and added four more languages to the original ones later in life. I studied here in the USA (German Literature as an undergraduate and then a master's in educational psychology).
As you can see from my pictures (all very recent), I am fortunate to look much younger than my chronological age. In fact, my most significant relationship partners have been years younger than me. I believe age is just a number and what counts is having the necessary energy and drive to enjoy life to its fullest, so it does not matter to me if you are younger or older...as long as you and I can share an active lifestyle, all is good.
I really love taking care of my appearance and value being feminine. I like all the fun you can have being well dressed, sweet smelling and nicely groomed, but can also get sweaty and trek with you in the jungle. I work full time as a school psychologist and special education program administrator. I enjoy what I do, my job is not my life, but it is important to me. I own my home, am financially stable and have no children. I am divorced, happy on my own, but open and wishing to meet the right person to share the joys of life with. I am not religious at all, however I meditate regularly (Vipassana meditation). I am physically active, and frequent the gym regularly without being a "gym rat". I enjoy walking, hiking, Bikram yoga, working out and keeping mind and body in good shape. I am healthy and strive to keep it that way. I love animals, traveling, reading, music, art and good food. I am a great friend and partner, and will totally spoil the man I care for. I abhor drama, as well as possessive and needy men. I look forward to meeting a secure, happy, established man that can share his interests, heart, body and soul with me. My ideal match is an active, smart, well educated and fit person that values a healthful lifestyle. My political views are progressive and I chose to see options and possibilities in my life.
