Date a woman from United States. My greatest accomplishment is raising my three children on my own and I am very proud of them and the young adults they have become. I love all sports and enjoy being active. It would be ideal to meet someone who is a very good tennis player or who loves horses, but this is not a deal breaker. I also enjoy playing golf and I LOVE the beach! I traveled a lot before starting a family and look forward to begin making travel plans again, hopefully with someone who has a desire to see the world and learn about other cultures. I enjoy being with someone who makes me laugh although not someone who thinks they are the life of the party. Also, I love to dance! I take a class right now which is exercising through dance and it would be great to have a partner who at least likes to get out on the dance floor. No need to be Fred Astaire, but enjoy the music while dancing.

Meet someone special from United States. I know that I got the shopping gene from my mom but who thought it would ever come to "shopping" on line for a mate? We have to hope that we don't screen out the "right" person by the "wrong picture". And it seems we all think we look and feel younger than we are :). Hopefully we can sort thru and find the needle in the haystack! With age comes some freedom, wisdom and a greater appreciation for the life we have yet to live.
I am searching for a man that is communicative, stable and secure. An active participant in life with a positive outlook! One who enjoys and isn't threatened by an outgoing, independent, upbeat, energetic, inquisitive, practical, ethical, dependable, outspoken woman! I am very pragmatic and approach life with healthy skepticism. I am efficient, sane and stable and I demand a lot of myself, work hard and have owned my own retail business for 23 years. At the end of the day I like to spend time with one special guy. An affectionate man of integrity with a flair for conversation, cultured, has business savvy and happy in his profession (whatever it may be).
Since time management is my specialty and I like to cut to the chase, I am including my short list of criteria that are musts for me to find in one guy: non smoking, non religious, left leaning politics and very little alcohol. So anything opposite of that would be a deal breaker for me. Of course chemistry is key yet illusive until we meet in person (It may be illusive then too, but let's hope for the best!). My guy should be confident and accomplished, yet humble. I am only looking for ONE to grow old with and have someone to count on that can count on me in a loving relationship. I keep a pretty healthy diet except for an occasional desert.

Love going to concerts and the theatre (Hollywood Bowl, Music Center, Pantages) dance shows, musicals and Cirque shows. I also enjoy walking through botanical gardens, zoo's, strolling down Melrose, Pasadena, and I don't mind shopping alone! I would like to sit in your arms, enjoy conversation and your company, watch a movie or TV drama. I am open to trying new activities and restaurants. Snorkeling in tropical water is delightful (I just learned at 50) and I'm game if you want to teach me something new that you enjoy. I don't mind getting my hair wet either. I am healthy and active, I walk my dog every day and am still agile from years of dance training and teaching aerobics. Cooking together can be enjoyable but not a requirement:).
I have 2 wonderful grown boys and I am very proud of them. They are both talented and personable. I am a very supportive parent and think it's beneficial to have parenthood in common.
