I still can't believe I've been lucky enough to see DaVinci's Last Supper in Milan, Michelangelo's David in Florence, and the ruins in Rome and Pompeii. My dream vacation would be to take a cooking class somewhere in Tuscany with a romantic partner. I can't travel all the time, so some of the things I love to do in my everyday life are to take Yoga classes, take my energetic dog on long walks, see live theater, read a really good book, go wine tasting, go hear live music, and see a good thriller movie (as opposed to a chick flick!). Just a few of the things on my wish list are to learn to play the guitar, learn Italian and French, see a Broadway play in NYC, and fill up my Ipod completely.
I'm most drawn to men close to my age who are confident, educated, intelligent, and considerate. I notice and appreciate good manners. Although I don’t have children (one of my few regrets), I admire men who are family oriented and who value that over the perpetual single dating life. The guy I'm looking for would be looking for a woman who is not clingy or needy, and would be seeking his equal. That being said, I do like a man who is a take-charge kind of guy who will plan a date and take the lead more often than not (that's my southern upbringing, I guess). I want what most women want, and that is to have someone who will treasure me for the person I am. I am a bit of a "Tom Boy" but prefer the man to take the lead. I like sports and am fairly good at most of them but I don't consider myself as being a "jock."
