Date someone special from San Dimas, United States. I simple woman,at times - I clearly value my family and friends first. I am kind to others, and act with integrity at work and home. Other times I am complicated - I have many interests and a busy mind - I enjoy ideas, conversation, and exploring places, things, people. I have parented two kids singly through a rough spell and am celebrating my eldest entering college this summer, and my 2nd about to get his driver's permit. I do enjoy my kids, but I am satisfied on my own. That said, I know life is much richer shared with a special other.
I am very new to S. Cal. I can share my favorite places in Seattle, Chicago, or Washington DC. As for LA, I hope you can show me your favorite places. My social life in Seattle is full. My social life in LA is sparse, (but I am on a dragon boat racing team)!
I smile at very simple things, a beautiful flower, gorgeous art, a child's laugh and playful antics, my own children's laughter, and loving relationships. I cry at movies when the hero or heroine comes back from behind with their success wholeheartedly won.
My friends would say I am persistent, and never give up (almost never, I am finally learning to let go of struggles that are no longer mine to engage in). I like to surround myself with curious, adventurous people.
I seek the joys of friendship, sharing experiences and with the right man opening my heart and passions. I love affection in my life, sharing kisses, cuddles, and great intimacy together.
I am looking for a man who is complete. He is enamored with his family, confident in himself and his skills, continues to be interested in learning and has a tender heart and affectionate presence. He finds intelligent capable women attractive. Lastly, I do love to travel and plan to see travel in my future, as I will be freer in 3 years when my youngest is out of high school. I dream of going to Italy and exploring the nooks and crannies of the Amalfi Coast, Florence and Rome, a jaunt through the Greek Islands, seeing the white sands of Fiji , a safari in Africa, and rafting down the Colorado river through the Grand Canyon.
But mostly I dream of a happy, kind partner to ponder our next adventure together, even if it is at home or in our backyard having a delicious barbecue, relaxing while reading books and having the sun shining on our backs as I work on my next painting and you work at your favorite hobby.
