Date a soulmate from California, United States. My Honda S2000 convertible and Acura NSX are so much fun! I've met people from all over the country and become friends with them, because of the cars and internet sites. I even drove across the country three times to go to car club meets. I'm not much into TV, or cooking up big meals, although I make delicious chicken tacos, and brownies that are sought after at the car meets I go to. I would rather be outside doing something, or driving canyons, or "talking" to friends. I've really gotten to love riding my ElliptiGO bicycle for a great workout and am averaging 350 miles a month on it. I'm a sweet-hearted, second generation California native who is full of life, and people usually think IРІР‚в„ўm younger than I am.
I don't have to work but I'm no dummy and earned a BS in Physics with a math minor. I volunteer in a hospital in the surgery waiting room, where I enjoy talking to the families of surgery patients to try to lighten their mood, while keeping them up to date on what's happening with their loved one. I'm artsy, when I have the time (watercolors and stained glass) and love going places and taking lots of photographs.
I would really like to meet a sweet-hearted, smart, respectable and honest man, to experience life with here in So Cal, who loves to kiss as much as I do. I have the time to travel and would love to have a honey to go places with. Is it possible to find my true love? I don't know but I'm trying. I'm an optimistic type person and don't like being around negative people. Bad things happen in life, but life is for living, learning, and loving, and it hurts sometimes.
In the past, I've enjoyed boat camping on Lake Havasu, stream fishing in the Sierra's, riding my street legal Kawasaki KLX 300R in the desert and up at Kennedy Meadows, and motorhome camping at the desert or Rincon beach. I love the Sierra Nevada forests and Colorado forests. I have a motorcycle driver's license, although my motorcycle hasn't been ridden since my divorce. I would love to return to Maui and go snorkeling like I did in 1984. I don't want to go alone, though. Are you interested?
I have a son and daughter, ages 23 and 25, who I raised into terrific human beings, and who have both graduated college. I couldn't be prouder of them. I love them to pieces and am so happy when I get to see them. They are both employed in their fields of study!
I was married for 23 years and the divorce was final 5 years ago (2007). I had a boyfriend for 4 years after that but we really didn't fit as well as we hoped we would, and we split up a year ago. I'm 54 years-young, and want to have love in my life! I hope that this time I find the right one, one who isn't a workaholic but has no problem paying his bills. I like to exercise 5 days a week, to keep fit. I love listening to lots of different kinds of music like Nickelback, Lady Antebellum, Craig Chaquico, John Mayer or Santana . Music is important to me whereas I can go a month without turning on the TV. I'm always taking photos with my Canon 40Ds of friends or cars, and also of scenery and family. I'm not much of a city girl, and prefer the beach, mountains, or deserts to concrete, asphalt and buildings where itРІР‚в„ўs hard to find true nature. I really love starry nights with a campfire up at my place in Kennedy Meadows.
I'm very honest, down-to-earth, caring and a good person. I can't have anyone who doesn't share those qualities. I'm attracted to taller guys, who are 5' 9" tall or more. The smile on his face, and the light and life shining in his eyes, will turn me on more than "good looking" ever could. I need to have mental stimulation as well as a physical and emotional connection with my mate.
