Date a woman from Newport Beach, United States. Hi, I'm more of a mountain girl than a Southern California girl here in Newport Beach. I'm helping take care of my folks that are 88 and 93. I'll probably be here most of the summer. I'm still a ski bum though I'll be back for that! I grew up in Newport Beach, but have spent most of the time raising kids in Vermont and now in Utah. At least Newport is a beautiful place to be!
I'm enjoying kayaking around the bay, rides along the board walk and also long walks from pier to pier or wedge and back on the soft sand for a good workout. Hope to break out the road bike here soon and take some longer rides. Riding down to Seal beach is pretty special. Days are filled with doing errands for mom helping out. But mostly getting some good exercise and enjoying Newport.
Other than that it's pretty sloooow. Newport is so different than when I grew up. It was just a beach town way back when. That part is ingrained in me and I'm just not into all the fast cars, big houses, and big incomes ... Sorry love ya but days skiing the powder in the trees trumps worrying about how to pay for all that. I do have some time to still get out ... so if any of this sounds "refreshing" read on. You never know meeting the right guy here in Newport could be wonderful. He just has to appreciate that I have a ski house too! This is my Park City profie:

I've been in Park City four years. I just sold my house in Vermont and now officially a Park City Resident. I've got three kids that are all grown and very independent. (Montana, Vermont, and Hollywood.) Love the summer life here, mountain biking, road biking, and the outdoor concerts. But really I'm a nut about skiing. I work at the ski area and ski three days a week. I go everywhere on the mountain. I like to say "I get after it"... It's a great way to connect with friends, be out in the fresh air, enjoy some amazing scenery and get great exercise.
The ski thing? Just being me thing, exploring, biking, camping, paddling, ... I need to be with someone who gets it. This is my day on the golf course, being a doer, not a talker, not a watcher, ItРІР‚в„ўs my gym. ItРІР‚в„ўs my church, ItРІР‚в„ўs my way of interacting with people, and itРІР‚в„ўs my way of connecting my passion with the way I earn my living. It makes the importance of acquiring things in my life not so important. Just being able to be out there in the fresh air makes me feel good to be me. And Life can be pretty darn awesome especially when you have someone to share it with. Keeping it simple.
