Date a man from United States. I am the one who will turn on those 'dead end' roads just to see what's at the end. Like a new relationship, you never know what you are going to find til you go there. Since I have been traveling for the last 30 years all over Calif., Nevada, and Oregon, I am looking for that someone special to share all these places with, whether it be kayaking, cycling, hiking, camping, B B's, or wine tasting on the coast or mountains. I also enjoy spending 'down' time on my 5 acres in the foothills. Nothing like sitting on the deck watching the sun come up in the morning, or the colorful sunsets in the evening, cooking a meal for two while enjoying a glass of wine.
I designed and built my own house on 5 acres - stained and carved glass, mahogany, redwood, slate tile, oak, collecting art. I seem to be always re-doing something.
I enjoy the Art Walks in Sac., and outdoor concerts in a park. I have enjoyed art in Maui, Scottsdale, Sedona, Carmel, Washington D. C., and hopefully someday everywhere in between. Been country dancing for the last 5 years and always looking for a partner. Having been a talent scout at one time, I enjoy almost all types of music, country, soft jazz, rock - El Divo, Bon Jovi, Four Play, Anita Baker, Gerald Albright, Faith Hill, Josh Groban.
Would love to travel to Costa Rica, Spain, and New Zealand. Like spending my time at my friends cabin in Tahoe City, (Shakespeare in Sand Harbor, kayaking, cycling, hiking, full moon snow shoe hike in Squaw Peak), Loon Lake (kayaking), Echo Lake (hiking), Yosemite (hiking Yosemite Falls), Lake Natomas (kayaking), Shenandoah Valley (wine tasting), the Sierras (cycling), fire opal mining in the Black Rock Desert, cooking up a new recipe and trying a new wine.
So, if you would like to experience life away from the couch and just see what's out there, let me know. And when it comes to a perfect match, one doesn't 'find' a perfect match, it takes two people to make one. When two people do get together, it's a blend of giving and taking. As a couple, we will share are hopes and dreams, give each other their space when needed and yet look forward to the times when we become as one. We'll compliment, challenge, surprise, and learn from each other. Art, wine, traveling, sports, making new friends will always be a part of our lives. We have both learned our mistakes from the the past and move into the future with new hope.
I hope that I am not asking for to much.

Meet single man from United States. I put myself through school: undergraduate, graduate and law. I've worked most of my life at first doing odd jobs to get through school, then teaching and then law.
I was brought up in the LA and San Diego Areas. My schooling and work moved me North.
I really like traveling and seeing new places although I don't do it as much as I should. I especially like warm climates for scuba diving, body surfing and if possible, sailing. Obviously, I like warm water. [I don't like dentists and cold water (but will tolerate both.)] I enjoy backpacking, water skiing and snow skiing. I love flying (as a pilot) when I can.
I make great margaritas, tacos and ribs! And I like throwing a party for lots of friends and family. (Chico State provided me with these important skills.)
So... Who am I looking for?? Someone to share time with to enjoy diverse activities from roughing it backpacking (or Burning Man) to a nice meal, theatre and anything in between.
