I'm an outdoorsy type woman and like to hike, camp and ride horses. I'm working towards being an Ultra runner, and that gets me out and running the trails often. 12/01/11: So, to date, I've received a few winks, a few emails, and only one invite to actually meet...so that we are on the same page: I'm not looking for a pen-pal, I don't want to email interminably, I would love to actually meet! We all have busy lives, I'm looking for someone who is secure in themselves enough to be a man and put himself out there. In this, I'm a little old fashion. I'm not going drive miles to you to meet up, it has to safe and reasonable. Let's go for a bike ride, stop off at a winery, grab a sandwich at a local deli and sit at Veteran's Park and chat. I'm a lady, and I'm reasonable (haha...I know some of you men are saying that this is an oxymoron! :), but I won't waste your time. My free time is too precious to waste! 05/30/12: ...so, I took a break for a bit. Still busy, and still looking to meet a nice guy, or a nice guy friend. Only problem is, doesn't seem as if anyone else is interested in meeting. If you wait for the perfect moment, you just might miss it! Carpe diem! :). Go on, I dare ya!

Meet people from Napa, United States. Going online to meet folks is definitely a new thing for this traditional girl. Still getting used to it, but then I'm still catching up with the technological advances of my generation in a lot of other ways too...I didn't even get a microwave until the year 2004, so I'm REALLY behind the times when it comes to this stuff. Don't even get me started on how to hook up the the DVD player-I don't speak Blueray--actually, I miss my Betamax.
I am a Southern Cal native that recently relocated to the Northern Cal wine country. I really love my job and life is great. Now I'm looking to expand that happiness into the relationship arena too. I'm a very poised and polite girl, and I expect to be treated like a lady, please. You could say I'm somewhat old-fashioned when it comes to dating, and I really appreciate sophistication, chivalry, and good manners. I'd like to for you to open doors and make the first call (or email in this case). I definitely appreciate the acts of a true gentleman. That being said, I have a pretty dry sense of humor, so expect some witty banter (aka sarcasm), whether we're hanging out at the local sports bar watching the game or at the ballet. I also prefer gentlemen that don't mind a tall woman--I usually wear some sort of heel, unless I'm at the gym or on a hike, so I'm usually around 5'9 and up in public. Also, I really do get mistaken for much younger--not just sayin' that. I don't have tons of pictures on my profile because I'm still getting used to the online thing--see above. Guess you'll just have to trust me.
I have great friends, and I spend my free time going to concerts and college football games, hiking, taking culinary and wine classes, going to the theater, traveling, taking dance and pilates classes, and throwing great dinner parties. I love to cook and pairing fabulous food with excellent wine is a passion of mine.
I grew up as a Christian girl with traditional family values and beliefs, and my family raised me to have strong morals. I'm loyal, educated, kind, fair, and pretty darn level-headed (no drama, really--ask any of my guy friends!). In short, I'm looking for a real man with his act together, someone willing to take the lead, and who isn't afraid to put his thoughts and words into action. And you must love animals! I have the most amazing dog on the planet - large breed mutt mix--and he wouldn't fit into any of my purses--not even the biggest one I have.
