I decided to give this a try because it seems harder to meet people as my friends are all married and their friends are all married so they don't really get out very much. I also spend some time traveling for business and that also makes it difficult to meet people.
I know that most of the women here are looking for someone who is fit and athletic. I didn't want to get into all of that here, but I feel that I should be upfront and honest with anyone who reads this profile.
I am exceptionally fit and athletic. Now with that said, I like to keep a layer of fat over my muscular physique(not too little, not too much) both for your protection as well as mine. It protects you from potential jealousy. For instance when we go out and other women are paying too much attention to me. I don't want to be responsible for putting you in that situation. It's not fair to you. It protects me from all of the women who would choose to use me only for my body. I'm more than just a piece of meat. I have a brain and feelings. I mean lets face it, when it comes to being superficial, men have the market cornered. Imagine a world where both men and women were superficial. I can't even imagine what a horrible world that would be. We trust that women are better people than us and are able to see past the physical and find the good in men. Our Intellect and our Emotions. We can't do that for ourselves. We need you women to be the good ones.
Now back to the purpose of this profile, to tell you about the fit athlete that I am. I'm going to give you some numbers here that will demonstrate my superior physical ability as an athlete. For some of you this may take your breath away and for others it may make you think that I'm way out of your league, but don't worry, I don't think like that. Here we go. I can run a 40 yard dash in 16 seconds(I know, impressive) I run a 23 minute mile. I bet your asking yourself, self, how is it possible for him to keep up that pace? It's true. For those of you interested in my marathon time, just go ahead and do the math, I can keep that pace for 26 miles. Now onto what probably matters most, my physical strength. I can bench press 20lbs (with a spotter of course) I can squat almost 30lbs and I do curls with 2.5lb dumbbells(right now you're probably asking yourself what it would feel like to be held by those arms). You might say, Brad, are you a professional athlete? I'm not. That would have been the easy route for me to take in life but I chose to take one that focused on my intellectual and emotional development. My physical talents are just a gift and I'm better served in life by focusing on what really matters.
All kidding aside, and I hope that everyone realized that I was only joking. I hate that I even have to say that but it's inevitable that someone will take that seriously :)
I try to have fun no matter what I'm doing, but I can be serious when necessary. I joke around quite a bit and be be a bit sarcastic at times(or a lot). I like people who can laugh at themselves and not take life too seriously, but still have a sense of responsibility.
I enjoy playing golf and working out. I like listening to music and am a sucker for a good comedy. I love to laugh(did I mention that already). Even better I love it when something makes you laugh uncontrollably. You know the kind that makes you snort or some other weird sound that probably makes the people around you laugh even harder, a laugh that makes your stomach cramp up but you just can't stop no matter what you do.
I'm looking for someone who fits, I'm not sure what that means exactly. I have been attracted to someone physically but after dating them that connection faded because there was nothing more and I have dated people that weren't "My Type" that I turned out to be very attracted to and there has also been everything else in between. The point is that you never really know if that person fits well until you get to know them.

I’m a woman – the one who is honest, loyal, and can laugh until I cry (Yes, some things are just that funny and need to be laughed about until your sides ache). I am as sweet and kind as I am rough and tumble. I have a brain and use it often. I'm curious so I always have a list of things to learn.
The blackout we had last year spooked me a little so lately I am trying to learn how to use the BBQ a little more and the microwave a little less. I may have even found a cake recipe which can be cooked on the BBQ (blasphemy I know - but I have a small grill to do my cooking on so I promise not to mess with your grill mojo). My dad says I know how to pour a perfect beer. I'll take his word for it and stick to my diet soda. I frequently get requests from friends and family to make any of the following: salsa, spaghetti sauce, mac-n-cheese, spicy meatloaf, or Swedish Meatballs. I also know where to get the best pizza in San Diego county.
I tried to retire from a 35 year soccer career last December. I think I am done now but my friends and teammates say I'll be back, weРІР‚в„ўll see. I do miss seeing them every week.
We may be adopting a dog sometime in the next year. The kids and I have been reading up on various breeds trying to figure out what they want. Or maybe we'll be adopting some tree frogs. My eldest hasn't made up his mind yet. That is the kind of controlled chaos we roll in.
Most holidays or weekends find me either with my family or with my friends. For my aunt's 50th birthday a few years back we had a blast playing paintball. We try to get together a few times a year to play still. The group of friends I hang out with may technically be called a mob. We have our own gravitational pull and we migrate – the desert, the mountains, each others’ houses, lunch. We even made it to Disneyland - and survived. Our next big excursion is a camping trip to the mountains.
I prefer the beach and tropics over snow. Although, I did go skiing once at Mammoth - it was 70 degrees. People who ski or are from cold weather states tell me that it doesn't count as skiing, so I'll need to go again some day. For now - my next adventure in the planning stages is zip lining, hiking and riding ATVs in Hawaii. Not sure which island yet - just started planning. I do need to try surfing and or paddle boarding too. The list is getting longer.
During summer and on Fridays I dress down for work. The rest of the time it is business dress as usual. Just between you and me I prefer my jeans and tennies! And yes - you do see dimples. Two of them (thanks mom!). The jury is out on whether they are appreciated or not but for now I'll let them stay.

A male friend of mine recently told me that I am a great catch. I'm beautiful, I'm intelligent, I'm educated, I make good money, I am fun and open to new experiences, I'm kind, I have a great kid, and I have no major issues. He also told me that many men will be intimidated by my intelligence and financial success. I work hard, but I've been lucky and am smart enough - I'm no Mensa candidate.
I'm a cute, blonde, who is very nice - not intimidating! I'm a bit of a traditional woman and love a man to take the lead in a relationship. If it makes you feel better, you can pay for all of our dates (hee, hee). I don't take myself too seriously and like to be silly and laugh.
A few men I have gone out with recently have accused me of being too "fancy." Now, this makes me laugh; really laugh. Yes, I do dress well (wear a lot of dresses) and I am aware of the finer things in life (and even enjoy them), but I am an outdoor loving, camping sort of woman. What is wrong with being comfortable in both worlds? I'm happiest when hiking through the forest along a stream or sitting on some deserted white sand beach. I grew up on a cattle ranch - there isn't anything fancy about that.

Obviously it takes a while to get to know someone, so I prefer to take things a little slow. We can have a lot of fun together while we are getting to know each other. I enjoy many activities - hiking, biking, cultural events, naked mud wrestling (kidding, just seeing if you were paying attention!), sporting events, camping, weekend trips, wine tasting, skiing, museums, and just about anything else. Once we get to know each other, I have no problem spending some evenings snuggling with you on the couch watching a movie and maybe cooking dinner together.
Do you like travel and adventure? I sure do. I love to plan vacations. I'm happy with two longer vacations per year and many long weekends. I've traveled a fair amount and have failed to tire of it. Now as for my body type - I listed athletic and toned, which I am, but I am also soft and curvy at the same time. I'm not skinny (not fat either!) and am not obsessed with fitness. I enjoy staying fit and want to look good for you, but I enjoy food and don't want to spend all my time at the gym. I like all sorts of men - tall and even short. Now if you are short, I prefer you to be muscular and not skinny. It would just be downright embarrassing if I weighed more than you! I'm looking for my teddy bear - I love to snuggle!

Children often "adopt" me and I am an honorary Auntie to most of my friends children, but I do not have any of my own! So, I am open to men with or without kids as long as there isn't drama with their mom.
