So, I should tell you some other things about me. I am an avid Runner (5mi almost Daily) work allowing. I enjoy playing Tennis, Golf, Cycling, and Hiking. I always find my self doing something active every day. After that, I enjoy going to Sport events, movies, and just going out in general. Traveling to new places as well as my favorite places is what I really want to share with someone. I am a huge dog lover and currently have the best small dog but I would love to get a large dog again someday. I am into cooking and like to go wine tasting. Of corse, there is much more I could say but let's leave something to talk about.

Who am I? . . . I'm Spider-Man. Wait, no, that was a movie! . . .I'm Superman. Wait, no another movie!... I got it...I am ME!. I would describe myself as stable in my career and goal-oriented. I enjoy making people laugh. I am intelligent and can carry on meaningful conversations. I care about other people's feelings. . . When I'm with someone special, I like being spontaneous, adventurous, romantic, surprising them with little gestures, sensual, playful, and basically having that type of fun you see two people who just met in the movies having! I feel there has to be a mutual physical attraction for there to be good chemistry between two people. Having some similar interests helps. Some things I enjoy are Motorcross, playing my guitar, playing with my dog, walking at the beach at night, going dancing, watching movies , traveling, going to the dunes, going on day trips to local attractions, having romantic nights at home, cuddling, and basically having a blast together. . .Id like to find someone that loves or at least likes country music. As a person I like to think of myself as confident but not overly. I'm a very humble man.

WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT: I was raised by a single mother, my dad left when i was 5 so seeing her get hurt many a time, made me believe how important it is to treat a woman right. My mother also taught me how to gain inner strength and not to get walked on. I have tattoo's and it's made me understand just how fickle society is. I'm a TRUE heavy metal fan. I've had to overcome some difficult things in life and in doing so it's made me a much stronger man.

UPDATE: After several failed attempts (we're talking years, here) I've finally come to grips with the fact that I may the absolute WORST present wrapper in the history of gifts (Christmas time will bring that out in a single father). Now, I may be making a TERRIBLE suggestion, but how does a nice, cozy gift wrapping date sound? -------that was a joke......unless, you're a REALLY good gift wrapper! hahaha =)
First and foremost, I'm a single parent of a wonderful 12 year old girl. She's the light of my life and I am soooo proud of her! She's truly the single most influential person in my life. It's amazing to witness how young people can amplify life's small pleasures and simplify life's everyday obstacles! I'm in a constant state of 'awe' when we're together. As she grows up, I'm finding that she has an amazing way of helping me see things with such clarity. Hard to explain......she's just growing up sooo fast.
I grew up in Missouri.....great place to grow up, but life 'happens' elsewhere. Moved to north San Diego County in 1997 after 6 years in law enforcement.
I enjoy a variety of music, collecting sports memorabilia and suffering through the most recent New Orleans Saints regular season ("PLAYOFFS!?!?!" - Jim Mora). EDIT: The apocalypse may be upon us......the Saints won a Super Bowl and I think (when I regain consciousness) I'll come to grips with that fact it actually happened. hahaha EDIT II: New season.......so far so good. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Other than that, I'm really up to just about anything. I've been talked into antiquing, swap meets, art and history museums and MANY other 'outings" that ultimately really impressed me, so I'm always open-minded about other peoples 'passions'. I admire those who are genuine, kind, responsible, respectful and aren't afraid to be themselves.
I'm not involved, dating, attached or committed in any relationship at this point. If my path somehow intercedes with that special someone's, I'm all for it. That's about it.....maybe more later.

I like variety, I don't like to do the same things everyday. A great week for me would typically look like this:
-Stay home on a rainy night, cook a really healthy gourmet dinner, have a massage and read a good book
-Go to a dinner party or bbq with friends and/or family
-Do some yoga in the morning, take a sunset walk or bike ride on the beach, cook dinner at home and watch a good movie
-Do an early morning dive in La Jolla and play with the seals, later that night have sushi somewhere fun
-Fine dining then dancing until midnight
-Weekends - Go to Napa, Park City, Vegas or somewhere exciting for the weekend
Throw a couple spontaneous lunches in there and do some work in between :) haha
