I work a lot, and I'm putting an ever increasing amount of time into exercise to overcome some health issues and regulate the stress. Other than that and errands, I just try to relax and study what interests me. Not very exciting. I have a lot of goals. They tend to compete with each other for my time and attention. I have yet to learn that I shouldn't expect myself to do and know everything.
I don't derive my identity from what I do for a living. I am strongly motivated, but by the fact that I believe in my company, and by the fact that I don't think doing anything short of one's best is worthwhile. So, I'm not lazy, and I do take my job seriously, but I'm not the sort of person who wants to talk about work or business all the time. I'd much rather focus on other things in my personal time.

A little bit about me . . . Having grown up in the Bay Area and San Diego, I'm a true California girl, and given a choice, I canРІР‚в„ўt imagine living anywhere else! On the weekends, youРІР‚в„ўll usually find me outside. I like tailgating and catching a football game, going hiking, playing tennis, or just sitting in the backyard enjoying wine with friends. My family and friends are very important to me. I have the utmost respect and admiration for my parents – they have been happily married for 50 years. Although you don't get to pick your family, I feel like I really won the parent lottery. And then as for my friends, all I can say is that they are truly awesome, and we would do anything for one another.
I tend to like simple things – margaritas, rocky road ice-cream, BBQs, dinner with friends, and of course, any sporting event (can't wait for the Olympics!). I love dogs and think that Cody, my parents' dog, is the best black lab in the world. I have a few dishes that I am proud of, but if you happen to cook, I make a great sous chef and firmly believe that “the cook should never clean.” I am wildly optimistic and have a big heart. If you are a naturally positive person who laughs a lot and enjoys life, then we would probably be super annoying to the grumps and whiners of the world.
What am I looking for? Ultimately, I’m looking for a solid guy who has integrity and a good heart and wants to share life’s adventures together.
