Date men and women from California, United States. In the past I have filled this box with a lot of chatty-snarky-charm-dripping chatter designed to convince you how smart and adorable I am. I've decided that I'd rather meet you and let my personality shout and whisper as it will.
However, I will tell you how my 12-year-old twin nephews just described me. Brandon said, "She has a lot of energy. She's super fun. She's not like, you know, a boring grown up. She's cool." Keaton said, "Ya."
I'm looking for a grown man who knows who he is and what he wants. I'm looking for a man who wants to commit to a long term relationship, marriage and maybe kids (If our love is powerful--it will be enough for me--but I'm open to or fine without kids).
I want a man with a witty sense of humor who loves family and friends. Ideally I'd like to meet a man who is financially secure, likes his job, is a little athletic, sorta adventurous, and wants to spend time together. I hope he can do this while understanding that we both need some independence to remain attracted to each other.
As a guy, you're comfortable in your own skin; to me, this means that you've learned from your past relationships, you don't shut down challenging conversations, and you know when to stand firm in what you believe to be good, true and right.
Above all, I'm looking for the guy who, at the end of the day, who feels as lucky to have me as I do him.
((P.S. please respect my age parameters--I am neither a cougar or an old man's arm candy--Thank you!))
Meet someone special from California, United States. Hi there! How's it going?
I'm loving life: I have great friends and a fab family. I enjoy working freelance for myself: I'm a good boss ;-)
However, I'm not meeting very many eligible bachelors around my home-business water cooler, and I don't hang out in bars, so...here I am online, to up my statistical chances of meeting someone :-/
Originally from the East Coast, I'm living on the West Coast for the first time (relying heavily on my GPS...) After years in big cities (Chicago, New York, London), I LOVE being in the woods. I'm into fresh air, not air-conditioning.
So - being outdoors, being active, is how I like to spend free time. Hiking, cycling, swimming, camping, gardening, you name it. The closer to nature the better.
And also snuggling up, relaxing: reading, or watching a good film.
Making healthy food with friends and family. I'm a happy hostess, and LOVE to whip up some tempting appetizers and baked creations for my guests to devour! And if you can grill up a mean medium rare steak, that's a serious bonus. I'll cover salads and deserts. Divide and conquer.
All pretty normal stuff, made better when shared, and laughing with someone special. It's all about the laughing.
I said "social drinker" because I do go for the occasional deadly fruity cocktail, but honestly, I hardly ever imbibe. Drinking's not really my thing. And I've come to accept that I'm actually unable to digest to tequila...!
I'd love to meet someone loyal and true. Someone my vintage, preferably. Drama-free and confident. Not easily threatened. A free-thinker who's in it for the long-haul. No flings on my horizon, thanks.
Disney's Cinderella was the first film I ever saw: thus, I appreciate a romantic gesture now and then, some good ol'fashioned chivalry.
Maybe it's you?
