Date single man from California, United States. I'd have to say that I try to live life with no regrets by being true to the self and doing right by people. I'm curious and inquisitive by nature and for the most part, have sought to experience as many things in this life as possible. I view myself as open minded when it comes to new things or ideas and will try most anything at least once. Time HAS mellowed me a tad though compared to the more adventuresome and care free days of the past but I think that might just be wisdom finally settling in. j/k!
Some of the things that I enjoy are: exploring new destinations near or far, great conversations, flavorful dishes, 80s music, and things that reach the soul like deep sincere friendships, family, and well written reads, films and music.
In my free time I like to check out new events, concerts, exhibits, restaurants and watering holes around town. I really enjoy finding new and great places to eat..turns out that putting things in the mouth has become quite a passion! In terms of activities, I'll play basketball, take a ride on my motorcycle, work out at the gym, snowboard, and catch up with friends/family when I'm free although you'll also catch me lounging around home too as I'll admit to needing some quiet time to balance things out.
Despite all that I am blessed with, it'd be great to share these and the rest of life's offerings with the right person. Sizzle is great but I'd also like to find substance/a true connection in a match. Someone that I can truly be myself with without reservation and feel comfortable sharing the simplest, to the deepest, of thoughts. I realize that finding this kind of connection is probably why most of us are here and isn't typically an easy find. Date someone special from California, United States. While posting between calls, I will occasionally sit in the ambulance and read a book. A few days a week I see this elderly couple walk by on their way to the grocery store. They walk silently, hand in hand, enjoying their daily ritual. When the husband sees any sort of hazard on the ground, he gently rests his hand on the small of her back and guides her around it. It's such a simple gesture, but it speaks volumes. On the way back from the grocery store they make a beeline to the lemon tree in front of the fire station. She is his lookout and warns him if anyone is around. I find myself sitting very still, hoping not to scare them away. He quickly grabs a handful of lemons while she opens the white plastic bag and waits for him to fill it. After the bag is full, they hold hands again and casually walk away. I always wonder what they do with so many lemons. Do they use them all or do they do it to also enjoy their Bonny and Clyde moment of the day. Whatever the reason, it makes me smile. The small moments in life are the ones that should be savored the most. I often see Facebook posts of fabulous vacations to exotic destinations, but I am most envious of the hand in hand grocery store walks of the nameless elderly couple.

I love listening music and going to concerts/live music events. I used to play the drums in bands and work in the music industry (not anymore). I've been away from the music scene, so I hope to go to local clubs to discover great bands.
I love to travel. Last year, I had an opportunity to visit Italy for business meetings, and I would love to explore more in Europe. I hope to go back to Italy for sure, and maybe Spain. I love to travel and learn different cultures (i.e. language, food, etc.)
I excercise everyday to maintain my health. I do Bikram Yoga, Turbo Kick, Gym-workout, or simply walking for long hour(s). I would like to try new sports/excercises or maybe some dancing (i.e. salsa). I love outdoor activities (i.e. camping) and want to do river-rafting this summer.
