Date single man from United States. Because of the small beach community I live in (I was recognized from match at my local Peet's Coffee) I prefer not to share my "about me" information to the online world..... Yes, I am embarrassed. I am sure I will be teased by my neighbors, relatives, friends, the squirrel that lives in my yard and all the dogs tied to the parking meter poles outside of Noah's Bagels on weekend mornings..... I can definitely share with you via e-mail or phone..... It's all good! As far as a perfect match, that is difficult to answer. A small hint...... personality is absolutely everything........
Meet a man from United States. Yahoo! I was separated on Nov. 1, 2009, having been married twice (not at the same time! :-)) over the last 28 years. My current divorce dragged on for 2 and 1/2 years, but after the first trial installment back in January, 2012, with the final phase due to commence at the end of June, the case recently settled! That means as soon as a final judgment is prepared and entered within the next week or two I'll finally be officially divorced!
I have 3 amazing kids - a 21 year-old son from my first marriage who will soon be in his junior year in electrical engineering at USC in the fall and 2 gorgeous 12 and 14 year-old daughters (too gorgeous; not looking forward to their teen age years! :-)) from my second marriage who are great students, amazing athletes and fantastic human beings. The 14 year-old played Club soccer for 3 years, left her team two years ago to pursue gymnastics and recently joined the high school cheer squad (yes, she'll be a tumbler/flier), where she'll start in the fall. The 12 year-old has been playing Club soccer for 4 years and is still going strong on one of the top 25 GU13 Club teams in the country.
Here's a bit more about me. I grew up in Phila. and South Jersey, did my undergraduate studies at MIT (degree in chemical engineering in 1980) and went to law school at the Dickinson School of Law, which long subsequent to my graduation in 1983 was acquired by, and is now part of, Penn State. I'm an Intellectual Property attorney (patents, copyrights, trademarks, technology and computer law, etc.), I'm an arbitrator and mediator on the panel of an Alternative Dispute Resolution firm and I have an Internet wine business on the side. I also used to own and run a high performance driver education school through which I rented out top race tracks around the country and taught people how to get the most out of their cars (safely!), but I sold that in 2005. I have a wide variety of interests, including wine, tennis, sports cars (see above), skiing, flying, swimming, all sorts of card and board games (especially Scrabble and Boggle) and music.
My main pic is fairly current (December, 2011) and the other pics are relatively current (July, 2010), although I'm about 10 pounds lighter now. The older ones were shot by my daughter so I would have some photos to upload when I decided to give this a try (no, she didn't know what they were for, and hopefully hasn't figured it out! :-)). Honestly I'm not very photogenic and have been told that I look much better and about 10 years younger in person, so if you even halfway like what you see in the photos, you'll be really happy when we meet!
So what am I looking for? Simply put, a companion who is fun, upbeat, active, passionate, honest, smart and who communicates well. Romantically put, I'm looking for someone who likes long, wet, tender, fierce, soulful kisses (yes, after I get to know you:-)), with whom I feel that magic chemistry. Even more simply put, like many here (but certainly not all), I'm looking for "The One;" a connection, not a collection. If you think that might be you, please send me an email. Winking is cute, but conveys very little information.
