Date single man from California, United States. I'm a "middle of the road" type of guy (except, perhaps, politics, where I'm definitely to the right of center). Not that I'm averse to risk, as long as the reward justifies it. If you're into bungee-jumping or skydiving, or if you're a dyed-in-the-wool liberal, I'm probably not your man. My speed is more like enjoying the outdoors on a nice walk or hike, working out at the gym, the arts (museums, stage, film), fine dining, socializing with friends, down-to-earth simple pleasures. Other interests include photography and home maintenance (it seems as though I can't drive past a Home Depot without it sucking $100 out of my wallet). A special passion of mine is singing (mostly standards) and performing live. I've learned that entertaining before a live audience can be both exhilarating and humbling.
I took a full early retirement to pursue my interests in acting and voice-acting. The challenges are formidable, but fun. It feels so great to book a gig, no matter how small, and even get paid for it.
I would characterize myself as successful, sometimes shy, mostly traditional, consistently reliable, thoughtfully generous, occasionally impulsive, sometimes humorous, sometimes serious, financially sound, and incurably sentimental. People have complimented me on my sense of stability and responsibility to my life and everyone important to me.
I'm finally at a place in life where I can comfortable enjoy doing almost anything I desire. But it would certainly be nice to share all of this with a partner. So, I'm looking for a great lady to chill with, to rock with, and just have fun with. I picture a life fulled with lots of love, warmth, trust, wonderment, and adventure as we ride off into the sunset.

Meet someone special from California, United States. Quiet, retired, engineer. I enjoy live theatre, both from the audience and backstage (but never under the lights!) The local CLO (Redondo Beach) always has great shows, and I've had great seats from the very beginning. Does this sound good? We'll meet and go to dinner and a show. Sometimes you'll want to go walking on the Strand, to a movie, Broadway type show, but other times just lie around the house, in front of the fireplace, watching a mystery, or surfing the net.
I once knew the mountains well. I'm looking for a partner who'll join me up in the mountain tops on the uncrowded weekdays.

Date single man from United States. OK about me. I am a native, grew up in Pasadena. I landed in Manhattan Beach from Santa Barbara for job reasons. I like it here, for the sense of community, clean air and clean beaches. The life style suits me.
I have a warm, comfortable home that I sometimes share with my college age daughter. At home I enjoy gargening/landscaping and back yard bar-b-ques. I have just finished up a kitchen remodel, so enough of that for a while.
Away from home I volunteer when and where I can... Beach Cities Toy Drive, Boy Scouts fishing trips, Richstone, coachng AYSO soccer teams in the Fall and Spring.
In Summer through late Fall I enjoy saltwater fishing. My favorite destinations are mostly spots in Baja...out of the way spots like San Francisquito, Loreto, Bahia Asuncion, San Quintin. Zihuatanejo on the mainland is another favorite.
I try to keep busy at one thing or another. I don't sit still very well or for very long. I have travelled all around Mexico and Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan. Asia had amazing food and terrifying traffic. I am looking to cross the other pond. My daughter spent a college semester one Summer in London....jealous here.
I am told I have a big heart. Guess you'll have to find out for yourself. I am upbeat and cheerful. Laughter comes easy to me. I find that someone or something cracks me up every day. I can carry a conversation but know when to listen. And I never take myself too seriously. I value family and close friends very much, and specially like spending time with my daughter.
I am always up for trying new things, going new places and meeting new people. Life is too short to settle. Restaurant-wise I lean toward seafood, Thai, sushi bars and simple Mexican food.
In someone I meet I'll value friendship, sincerity and common sense. Someone who is open, not guarded. Someone who is engaging, passionate and warm. Maybe most of all I value emotional honesty. I am a big believer in romance and monogomy.
