Never been in prison, no beer belly, can string together two sentences and not use the word Bubba in either of them! You won't find me at a monster truck rally or Megadeath concert, but I would love to drag you along on a road trip, hiking in the Alps or a Jewel, Collective Soul or Eagles Concert. Some of my friends refer to me as an "interesting puzzle". It is hard to describe me exactly because I am simple and complex at the same time. And no, I don't have any kids but would welcome and love yours as if they were my own. Friends would call me generous, kind, compassionate, caring, and CRAZY! But crazy in a good way.
I enjoy the finer things in life. And for me, while I enjoy nice things, they are not what I live for and only exist to help me to enjoy life. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a nice glass of wine, a good dinner, a nice home and the sense of security that being financially secure can bring. But the things that make me the happiest have nothing to do with that... driving ridiculously fast in a convertible with the top down and good old rock and roll blasting..... coming home to a dog who adores me and thinks the world revolves around me.... the peace and appreciation that comes after a long hike into a beautiful area of nature... reading a book next to a creek...a family that loves me and friends that defend me.
To me, those are the true finer things in life. Don't worry, I won't bite but you need to know that I have always had a amazing curiousity for all things in this world and for exploration and probably always will. When I come home from hiking (which I do a lot) I can sometimes be pretty grungy but is what I need to be a complete person. Can you at least pretend not to be disgusted until I can get cleaned up in the shower??
The one thing most above all you need to know about me?? Age is really only a state of mind. If you stay active, take care of your body and mind, you will never grow old. I don't expect someone else to "complete me" and promise not to make YOU responsible for my happiness as those things come from within. When we are whole and healthy, we have that much more energy and positive emotions to share with somone else.
If you can embrace these things that make up me, I could embrace having you as an important part of my life.
