I'd always lived in large coastal cities before retiring to this tiny seaside hamlet, which caters to my love of nature, tranquility, animals, and wide open spaces. Predominantly a day person (and an early riser), I spend a significant part of each day outdoors in nature. I love to hike and log several miles daily. Whenever ambient and ocean conditions are favorable, I can usually be found body-boarding in the local surf. Other athletic interests include kayaking, swimming, cycling, yoga, basketball, cross-country skiing, SCUBA/free diving and horse-back riding.
I also enjoy the arts, architecture and travel. I appreciate cultural and ethnic diversity and keep abreast of local and world events.
When I"m not "out and about," I love to hang out at home reading books of all genres, watching foreign and domestic movies, listening to a wide range of music, cooking healthy meals from scratch (and indulging in decadent desserts on occasion), gardening, or simply whiling the time away gazing at the gorgeous panoramic ocean vistas.
I'm physically-fit, health-conscious (decadent desserts not withstanding), well-educated, intelligent, eco-friendly, adventurous, inquisitive, independent, sensuous, affectionate, playful, faithful and fiscally-prudent. Open-minded and adaptable, I mix well in most social settings; however, I tend to prefer intimate one-on-one or small group encounters, and in general, the road less traveled.
I hope to establish a long-term relationship with an attractive, intelligent, warm, fun-loving, down-to-earth, physically-fit, athletically-inclined woman with a mindset and lifestyle similar to mine, who would like to share the simple pleasures that life on the Central Coast has to offer.
