I am actually pursuing a dream of mine I have had for the past 10 years: getting my Master’s Degree in AgriBusiness with an emphasis in Wine Marketing. I will be going back to Cal Poly, SLO, beginning Fall Quarter 2012.
Me? I am looking forward to a little red convertible for spontaneous beach and winery excursions, ample joy and laughter, new dog(s), shedding some more unwanted pounds, learning to dance well enough to do so at my sons’ weddings without embarrassment, and yes, even grandkids which are the promise of our tomorrows. What could be better than having grandkids brightening up the regular family gatherings at our place? All attainable.
Does any of this resonate with you? Enjoying evenings out on the backyard patio sipping great wine, or your favorite drink-of-choice, while engaging in light banter and/or thoughtful conversation. Laughing until the sun sets and the stars come out to look down upon two people that only dreamed of this second chance at love. Nurture deeper relationships with family and cherished friends at a cozy refurbished cottage. Yes, a fresh beginning and an opportunity to enjoy a new intimate relationship as a wiser, more self-aware individual.
To be honest, the disruptions of my past were unwelcome; however, they catalyzed my own journey toward greater wholeness, truth and joy. I look forward to gleaning insight from one special woman willing to offer positive input into this new voyage of mine. I would enjoy commiserating over a glass or two of fine wine, soft music, and good eats with a like-minded partner.
Honesty, integrity, a strong character and confident personal convictions some of the core values I cannot compromise on. I am definitely going to be a better person and ever improving and would like to experience the synergy of someone else going through similar changes.
I enjoy socializing in the kitchen and I am not intimidated by new recipes or fancy cooking gadgets. I do excel at BBQing (with charcoal—not propane). I look forward to casual conversations and sharing life stories and wisdom gained from experiences unrelated to mine. I am in search of feminine companionship, influence, gracefulness, beauty and interaction that have been missing in my life the past 10 years. I am intrigued by a woman that understands the more visceral elements of life's unpredictability and has the sensitivity and self-confidence to share this with me.
What else am I looking for in a woman? An effervescent personality that laughs easily, smiles readily and makes people feel at ease. Must be hospitable and comfortable having good friends and family over regularly. And a woman that doesn't mind me whistling spontaneously since I do so when I am happy and content. I do admire artistic women who express themselves at the places they dwell. And of course I wish to be blessed by a woman that also appreciates the finer elements of wine and the proper enjoyment of its remarkable qualities.

Meet single man from California, United States. I have lived in the California High Sierra mountains, Washington state, Hawaii for 8 years, and then the Central Coast, and Morro Bay, where I live now.
I have been employed in the medical field for most of my working life. For quite a few years as a medic, and now I am working in a local hospital.
I have always been positive, had a good sense of humor, and I appreciate my life. I am spontaneous, flexible, easy going, and,affectionate. People have told me that I'm a "young 58", (attitude, and lifestyle!). Life is what you make it, and I've always tried to make the best of it!.
I am active, and I love being outdoors, when, and where-ever I can. I like camping, hiking, the beach, mountains, or the forest. Sailing, kayaking, travel, road trips, movies, concerts, and special events, Yet I can stay at home, and be just as happy.
