Doing a bit of thinking on this subject of why I am here on Match. I have been divorced for 10 years now and I thoroughly enjoyed being married for even the short time I was. I have lived here in the Coachella Valley for 2 years now and like my time in Tucson, I am enjoying my single life. I am 90% happy about being single. It is that other pesky 10% that I am trying to satisfy. The feeling of knowing that there is someone that cares for me as I do for them. Someone that I enjoy spending time with at night or even during the day on our days off. But still having our own time. Someone to go to dinner with or cook for and discuss our days with each other. And the days/nights we don't get together, we can call if we feel like it. As I said before, I like my life and all that I do, but I would like to be able to share some of my triumphs and tribulations with on occasion. I can't say that I am looking for the "One" because I am not sure who that will be, I know what I am looking for in a partner/friend. And when I meet her, then I will know. I have been in love twice. Both hurt when they ended. But the feeling that I had while I was with them FAR outways the hurt when it ended.
Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled program...........
I am a fairly laid back, hard working professional. I have recently moved to the california desert from the other desert in az. I enjoy the desert area. We could use a bit of rain though!!!! lol. THe area allows me to do the things that I enjoy doing, like playing golf. since I am in the golf business. I have a lot of other interests as well, but I would rather do those with someone rather than alone. ( movies, shows, sporting events)
Although I have not played in a few years, competitively. I am a former tennis pro( playing and teaching) , now I play golf in my spare time. I do enjoy going out with friends for drinks and dinner on occasion. I also enjoy quiet nights at home too.
All my friends come to me when they have a problem and need to talk. So, I am very easy to talk to and I enjoy making people laugh. It is the best medicine. ( so they say)
I hate writing about myself cause I never know what anyone wants to know. So, if you have a question ask me. I will always answer it. One thing I would like to know though. If I contact you, please let me know if you are not interested. I don't want to keep contacting you in some way and bothering you.
As for who or what I am looking for........ Someone with a great smile to along with a good personality. I would like to be with someone who is pretty laid back to. I am fairly quiet overall, so maybe someone who does not mind chatting a bit. I will always listen to what you have to say, even if you tell me the same story 5 times. :D I would prefer someone athletic, you don't have to play golf or tennis, but if you do or want to learn that would be a bonus. I like to cook, but not for one. Have an opinion, but be open to and respect my opinions too.

Meet single man from United States. Time is what I really value. I am a dad....and love it! I have two great boys that keep me on the go! When their with me we are always busy... with sports, events and vaca getaways. Life is good... I appreciate it, what its provided, what we have and where were at!
About me... Im pretty straight forward, really do my best to avoid drama... and I like to keep it simple and honest!
Raising boys, and myself for that matter, I feel we need a strong sense of purpose and perspective. Were always talking about the bigger picture and the people around us. We do our best to be aware!
Right here and now...Im feeling travel, a dinner in or out, movies, a work-out or just chill time... Sounds great! But, hey its so much more fun when you have someone special to hang and enjoy it with.
Ive never really been one to sit back and wait. Im more of a "lets go do it....or lets make it happen"! Kind of guy!I To me its clear nobody is going to do it for me, But I WILL......me personally....Im honest and direct and really respect women who are!.

Women....hmmm. Im attracted to women who get it! Who have that good energy! The one day at a time thing seems to work with me, especially with kids Ive found. The fun girls, who like to laugh, do things and get out are the ones that seem to get our hearts!
I laugh...everyday at myself, friends, you name it! So, no thin skin, need not apply.

As for my boys...I love em with all I have!! And they really are great kids (11 & 13) and getting more mature...slowly,,WoW,. We have a blast and do it right. But, that doesnt mean I dont mind leaving them behind every once in awhile! (moms get that right). We need to enjoy and relax as well. Its time again...to get out!
