Thank you for stopping by. This is where I'm supposed to tell you who I am and what I'm looking for in a few short paragraphs. Not enough time and not enough space, as we all know, but here are a few things that are important to me.
I've always been drawn toward the lady who has made the effort to live life to its fullest as opposed to watching life pass them by. Those who put themselves out there and take a chance whether you've won or lost. I subscribe to the theory that our losses are often what make us more well rounded people anyway.
A willingness to communicate openly and honestly is the only way to get to know one another. (Perhaps a small token of that honesty might be a current photograph somewhere within your profile.) If you are the type that likes to respond to a question with more than a one word answer then it might be fun to get to know you.
I support and volunteer for causes that are important to me like the ALS Association, any fight against cancer, St Judes Children's Hospital, Smile Train, Klaas Kids and searches for the missing, etc.
Exercise has been a staple in my life since childhood and remains so today. But, unlike my younger days, exercise does not consume my life and I am fine with missing a few days here and there. I am excited by a lady who takes pride in her appearance and her health. A woman who is not a stranger to challenging her physical limitations regularly. My hope is that you don't feel the need to look or dress like the majority in our chronological age group just because at some point in your life someone told you middle aged people are supposed to look a certain way. Believe it or not, long hair and form fitted clothing still looks good on women in our age group.
I tend to be reserved by nature but I've always found it a most enjoyable fit to be partnered with someone who is playful, animated and even a goof ball at times. Someone who keeps me on my toes guessing at what they are going to come up with next. Hopefully, there will also be a serious and mature side of you that knows the right time to make an appearance.
A moderate amount of travel, both in the U.S. and abroad, has been a life long goal and I am finally in a position to fulfill some of those goals. An ideal partner would have a similar desire to visit new places and an interest in experiencing different cultures. One of my favorite things to do when traveling is to venture away from the tourist areas and into the common areas to see firsthand how people of the region live. These side trips often rejuvenate feelings of appreciation for so many things in life.
I am attracted to a woman who knows she is beautiful but doesn't feel the need for constant validation of that beauty from everyone around her. In other words, not high maintenance.
